Its an annoying victory if im honest. Because i dont think Daniel is the new no.1 - its just that the old gen is past it. I think Dubois beats Fury. But any younger fighter who can handle applied pressure would give him trouble. I have a feeling Bakole beats Dubois.
Hearn bullshitting aj has been better than ever in last year,,, fighting nobody who wanted to win,,the whole con has been exposed and now thinks he's earned another big fight,,, hearn squeezing every last drop out of aj
He keeps saying he wants this and that, three time champion, undisputed; he's a warrior, gladiator, fighter; and he looked a complete novice, when it came down to it, after patronising Dubois, throwing his weight around all week, and telling us it's just another day at the office. AJ's reality does not match reality. He should go off and find himself, not in a darkroom, but travelling round the world and spending his millions and finding out exactly what he does want out of life. To hell with boxing, he's been there, done it: he doesn't need the bullshit anymore.
think the jab really hurt him that was when he new kept trying bend his right around his left should of shot down the pipe for sure but top fight glad he's ok
2 reasons that let Joshua down in my opinion. 1 he does not deal with hard , fast , sustained attacks , especially to the side of the head. 2 , he has insecurities that see him worried about what the crowd think , even when he's in the ring. Coming out to the Godfather was a tad too much , i think the Don is probably Frank Warrem . Great video , thanks
Want has AJ been working on in training if his fundamentals arent there? Walking straight back with his chin in the air is something novices are told never to do.
Who he was performing against wasn’t throwing anything in all respect he needs to get shut of Ben Davison first of all but fight Tyson fury think off another payday he needs to be saying after that performance he should retire
AJ seems distracted. He needs to forget business, forget clichéd broad speeches to the press, forget wanting to be seen as smart, concentrate on the dude across the ring - if he wants. And why does a loss require an inquest - he lost to the better man.
Low left hand from the off; no authority on the jab; chin miles up in the air exiting straigh back from the pocket with his hands down... it was shockingly bad. I have no idea why in the everloving fuck no coach bar Derrick James has had him keep a tight guard and use his jab to actually hit people. This wafty long guard stuff is all very high-brow but it only works if you're light and agile enough on your feet to spring out of the way if someone comes over or around it, and springy and agile Joshua absolutely is not. His gloves need to be actively doing something constructive 100% of the time, and his chin needs to be on his fucking chest instinctively. He'd be better off tucking his chin, setting his feet and riding shots with the earmuffs on than he is trying to run away from them leaning back like he's the world's shittest limbo dancer. That left glove should either be feignting, jabbing the other guy like a battering ram or cellotaped to his left nostril. Instead its just hovering uselessly at nipple height. Bizarre. Why oh way they weren't bollocking him about that I have no idea. Literally the first thing I learned about throwing punches is that your glove sould be returning to your chin just as quickly as it went out. How can a 2 time world champion not know that? Does he/his team think he's above the basics?
I think it's down to sparring, Joshua looks like he does drill sparring rather than competitive sparring. He still looks so awkward trying to tie up opponents, which should be one of his strengths considering how he struggles to shake off big hits. He should have stuck in America and let the trainers choose his sparring partners
AJ is a Multi Millionaire, he's got very chance of getting better. He should retire to hell with Legacy, health and wellbeing is far more important. I think after you have been knocked out. There should be a 100% check on you, after the fight after 3 months and before any fight. All 3 should be State of the art examination. Lastly if you have been clearly knocked out twice. There should be a big case for you to fight again, yes l know Promotors would hate that. How many boxers are alive today in there 90'S, like Don King and Bob Arum.
I knew Daniel would KO Joshua, fighting Wallin and Ngannou, does not prepare you to fight someone that is beating legitimate opponents. I would like to see Joshua fight Big Baby Miller
I wouldn't say I thought Dubois was going to demolish him but I totally agree that AJ's last fights were not signs of an amazing rebuild or cause for a bunch of sycophantic pubdits to make crazy statements like "this AJ beats Usyk". Even mentioning the Ngannou fight as an example of him improving is crazy. He fought an MMA guy with a record of 0-1 who had the perplexing ambition to try and fight southpaw in his second fight. Dubois deserves his win.... Took an inch.... Took a mile....took his soul!
Thing is. Miller has no camp for Dubois. And Hrgovics best victory was arguably a robbery. So it was also hard to gauge where Dubois was, based on those opponents of Dubois's.
@@paintballing489 no, I disagree that there were any serious doubts about miller and Hergovic. What we saw was Daniel managing to stop TWO guys who had never been stopped before- one who hadn’t even been beaten before. That told me that Dubois had turned a corner and was greatly improved mentally. Physically he’s a unit anyway, so now he was the full package. He’s going to take some beating now. I’ve heard Joshua say “ pressure makes diamonds”,well it also makes people crumble, and that is exactly what we’ve witnessed here.
What are these coaches doing.nowadays? Aj getting hit with every shot dubois throws and not once does the coach say 'get ur hands up and move until you get your feet back' instead hes telling him to throw a big right hand. No common sense anymore?
This fight was what I'd call Stuntman boxing or WWE
AJ in the post presser gave it all away he was far too happy for a man who just lost
It's been set up for a big payday comeback no Seasoned pro like AJ comes in there hands down and chin up?
Fight was fixed no doubt about it
Its an annoying victory if im honest. Because i dont think Daniel is the new no.1 - its just that the old gen is past it. I think Dubois beats Fury. But any younger fighter who can handle applied pressure would give him trouble. I have a feeling Bakole beats Dubois.
blame the trainer, he aint got a clue, just a pt
Yeah, Eddie Hearn makes sense. Tyson Fury fight is there for him, right....these people smoke some heavy mushrooms
To hell with boxing, he's been there, done it: he doesn't need the bullshit anymore.
when groves said it's nice to smell you... that's fookin strange behaviour. proper suss
It was a joke. Because they were standing near the bins. Like they said...
This tall robot guy needs to stop licking AJ's boots. The guy is finished
AJ needs Shane McGwigan in his corner, and Wilder in December
Fury v AJ could be billed "Battle for 3rd best HW in the world"
Or ‘2nd best of this era’.
@@TheGreatest1974 3rd best. Behind Usyk and Dubois.
If AJ is going to walk in there again with his hands down and chin in the air like he’s stargazing he should definitely retire.
think the jab really hurt him that was when he new kept trying bend his right around his left should of shot down the pipe for sure but top fight glad he's ok
A couple of defeats ha Edward means 4!
AJ got paid a fortune for being a very average heavyweight at a very poor time
Not had centre of ring since ruiz 1
2 reasons that let Joshua down in my opinion. 1 he does not deal with hard , fast , sustained attacks , especially to the side of the head. 2 , he has insecurities that see him worried about what the crowd think , even when he's in the ring. Coming out to the Godfather was a tad too much , i think the Don is probably Frank Warrem . Great video , thanks
that's what you get for walking in last
Want has AJ been working on in training if his fundamentals arent there? Walking straight back with his chin in the air is something novices are told never to do.
Joshua 2.0 beat Franklin some viking and a ufc fighter dubois been in with top ten boxers
Once Usyk beats Fury again make the AJ v Fury fight then AJ should retire
Who he was performing against wasn’t throwing anything in all respect he needs to get shut of Ben Davison first of all but fight Tyson fury think off another payday he needs to be saying after that performance he should retire
Think George has had a few sherbets lol
All 3 should be
State of the art examination.
I agree. Joshua has been done for years, been hyped up by fighting poor opponents. I knew dubois would walk him down and AJ would crumble
Exactly. Or Joshua v Fury would be good if (when) Usyk beats him again.
I can’t see Fury lasting against him, Fury isn’t hard to hit and goes down easy. Usyk would struggle with this Daniel too.
