Because it’s clear from the beginning that everything would end up favoring the woman with all the evidence provided, so the woman need not to make any alterations so it won’t be as if the judge wants to pity her, that’s why she was shut to give the judge the chance to explain in details to the man how he has been handicapped by the law in all jurisdictions

He wanted to suffer the woman and thought that he could do so by not give her a divorce. The judge wanted to vary the order and helped him but he was clearly there to create more problem so she simply reinforce the original order. Whether you has 750 salary or not you go pay the 30 thousand. A court made an order concerning you and you are aware about it and you say you have not seen it and don't know anything about for over a year because you want to bondage by keep on denying that you are divorced. He is clearly heading for jail if he refuse to pay. The matter will not be in the hands of the woman so no one will blame her, it is in the hands of the court.

The law on return of dowry is absurd. Why should a woman return a dowry after having 3 children for a man?

The judge allowed her speak for close to 20 mins uninterrupted in the first episode. Once he started speaking, she started doing all sorts of side reactions. Why won't the judge be irritated with her. Una dey only see things one side in favor of women.

Nah. You expect the judge to kneel and beg him? Who is supposed to pay for his kids? Nigeria is not a welfare state, so why should he burden his wife with sole financial responsibility for the kids for over one year and ignore a court order.
His ignoring the Court Order is akin to his treating his wife like a doormat - and the court won't have that - is the reason he will be going to jail if he refuses to obey the Court that dissolved the marriage and ordered maintenance for the children. If he wanted to have a say in the monthly maintenance for the kids, he shouldn't have arrogantly ignored the Ìgandò Court 'invitations'. He must now obey those orders - pay up the arrears - and continue to pay until any application of his to vary the maintenance amount will be heard. Or go get his wings clipped in jail.
Judge in Ireland last month told a man to pay up or come to the next hearing with his bags packed. Guy is living in a 5-bedroom alone while his wife and kids had to move into a vermin-infested apartment and he was telling the judge he couldn't afford some €1500 a month that was assessed on his income - and maybe assets pending marriage dissolution. To beg a man to provide for his kids is ridiculous.
