Randy Holden wrote this Track. You need to hear his other Interpretation of this track on his Solo LP "Population II" which is a much better version IMHO!
Blue Cheer is named after a laundry detergent, lol. They were loud! They have been around a long time; saw them in 1968 @ the Fillmore (West) w/Ike & Tina Turner and Freddie King at the Blues Bash.
Actually it was type of LSD made by the legendary Owsley who named it after the detergent ! By the way if you saw them back then and with the bonus of seeing the stupendous Tina Turner plus Freddie King, you are one lucky lady MMM and you remember it too !!
@@brewstergallery Owsley was a friend of my brother; yeah, I guess I knew it was a name for that acid. That was the first big concert I went to, and I remember it a little. It was a LONG time ago.
I was very familiar with their cover of Summertime Blues but that was the only song I knew. On this song, I don't care much for the singer's voice but the guitars are killing it.
That's the insanely great and bonkers Randy Holden tearing a hole through your mind and soul with his 6 string razor , he wrote this tune as well. Leigh Stephens had left by this point. If you like Randy's playing, check out his self titled LP " Population II "
Randy Holden! This was outrageous when it was new.
✌️😊
Randy Randy " Guitar God " Holden!!

"Louder than God" some people say!
So loud that a studio kicked them out so they recorded outside at Pier 57 in NYC and Gate 5 Sausalito to make the LP OutsideInside ! @@PlagueRatt
Lucky you. Used to have that poster. Never got to see the original trio. Did catch them as a four piece in early 1970. Still loud as hell.
Guitarist; Andrew "Duck" McDonald was their last guitarist. B.C. had many, many guitarists.
Summertime Blues. That was their big hit. I have the 45.

@@brewstergallery thanks for the info and the recommendation. I will check it out.
Never heard of them before, but it was pretty cool.
If you want some really good psychedelic music then try the song called Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan.
Never heard this one before. Trippy? Mmmm, I guess so. Not bad.
Well, this song is certainly not beeradelic.
I don't think it's very psychedelic though. It's just hard rock. At least in that era, it was called hard rock
