To me, colourpop is affordable but not drugstore. CP is actually sometimes more adorable than drugstore brands but bc you can’t just walk into a CVS or Walgreens to buy CP items it’s not as accessible than drugstore makeup
I feel the same way. I also see people mention Morphe and Pixi as drugstore, but I can't just walk into a drugstore and get those brands either.

I actually really like that bronzer color on you! It’s giving me cute sunburn vibes because of the red tone! I personally like more red toned bronzers for that reason.
All of the spots you pointed out that don't look patchy or dry is because of the Wet n Wild primer I'm almost positive. I have it and everytime I've tried to use it, the same thing happens to me.
I think, for myself, i consider “drugstore” as an item’s location/accessibility more than price nowadays- like, is it at most drug/grocery stores or do you have to head to a specific department store or search online/wait for shipping? Cuz pricing can go high or low either way. The lines may be blurring and wording may be evolving, but i still know what someone basically means by “drugstore.” 🧡👍🧡👍
Amy D -I actually find that there are so so many drugstore products available, my own drugstores don’t carry much of what I see on RUclips. I find if I want to really try “drugstore” products I have to order online or check out Ulta. I have been burned so many times on ordering color products that looked quite different when they arrived at my house, that I’m wary. It’s just not as easy as it seems to buy drugstore makeup.
Ginny Burley ha! 👍 Yes, totally agree there as well! Sometimes when i hear drugstore, i’m thinking “yours maybe” - and online is quite the crapshoot. Thats why it seems so hard to use the words drugstore or affordable, etc, since its - who’s stores? or affordable to who?

that nyx lip liner is literally my all time favorite. I use it every single day even though I have so many other lip liners but something about the tone just literally works with EVERYTHING for me. i’m obsessed with it!
My sis just told me this morning that she heard ColourPop’s coming to Target. I suppose that could add to its “drugstore” label. Idk, it’s sometimes difficult to think of it as drugstore because I feel like it’s a step up (even though there are tons of fabulous drugstore products out there).

I have some WW products(lip pencils, mascara) that are super good, but some that were terrible. (Foundation and primer) And I typically don't love the smell.

The flower beauty bronzer is actually amazing mixed in with foundation! I use it when I have a foundation that is a bit light just to warm it up and looks super natural mixed in vs. On top of the skin. Love the video 😊

I feel like Colourpop is in its own category. Its priced well, but you can't just walk into any drugstore and get it. Plus the quality I feel, is way better then Revlon or Maybelline. Lol....and did you just say "Trumpy"?? Lol that's the best description I've ever heard! 😆 I'm gonna use that!

@@jasonw598 I know, but Target has been kind of selling not just drugstore brands lately, so i still wouldn't classify Colourpop as drugstore. And it's probably only going to be a small selection of Colourpop's collection. Like Ulta.

The primer is the main issue bc all the other products such as the foundation works very well alone with general primer. Try primer from nyx Angel Veil it will help
I look forward to hearing your final thoughts on the products! I tried the PF liquid blush and hated it so much I threw it away. I found it to be really sticky, and the color faded so quickly. On a positive note, I bought a Nudestix in Sunkissed after watching your video and love it!!

I think it would be cool to do a video showing your favorite products from the drugstore that perform like high end. I completely agree with you... I hate when people say it’s great for the drugstore. It doesn’t give a good review of the product bc it’s like what does one expect from a $5 product?
Brow intermission 😭😭 theyre precious. The honest beauty cream blushes are also really lovely. I picked up the physician formula cream bronzer a whole back and tbh the jojoba oil smell drives me nuts lol. But it’s not bad. Also I’ve been eyeing that honest beauty palette for so long but lord knows I don’t need it 😂

I use the dewy primer from wet n wild, but only on focus areas. I think the dryness and pilling around the perimeter did happen because of the primer bc it's done that to me. Amazing video as always, love ya girl

The honest beauty aluminizing glow powder is one of my favs, def give it a try!
Physicians Formula and Honest Beauty are my two faves from the drug store. You have to try the cream blushes from Honest (amazing). When you are not as tan, the illuminizing powder is very pretty. I use the color Dusk as a bronzer, and I have panned it!

Trumpy color!☠️so good. Actually I think it’s very cute on you, you look a little bit sunburned but not painfully so. Just sun-kissed. Thank you for doing drugstore products, a lot of us are on that budget most of the time. Occasionally I buy MAC, Glossier or Nudestix but that’s it. Oh! I bought your Em cosmetics kit. I used the eyeshadow palette once, (which I love) and promptly dropped it on my tile bathroom floor. I rescued about half of it. 2020 lives on. 💕
i feel like colourpop is def drugstore pricing! i also want to try out more drugstore makeup, i was looking at my collection the other day and a majority is either glossier or stuff from sephora lol i did get a makeup fixing spray from pixi recently and it’s pretty nice! it’s good underneath and over makeup, if you’re in the market for a new setting spray i would recommend!

I haven’t tried the bronzer drops yet but I can tell the tone is definitely not one you would use the same way you would a contour color. Maybe use it only in the areas where you might burn. Bridge of the nose and cheeks, temples and NOT the hollows of the face.
They’re actually meant to be mixed in foundations, I used the product wrong in this video ❤️

I personally love my Flower beauty liquid bronzer. I don't wear foundation and I apply it with a sponge and I think it looks so natural and pretty! I don't think it has a red tone at all but I have a neutral fair to light skin tone so maybe that's why. Idk but I think it's gorgeous! I think it looks good on you too! Maybe try a sponge? Or other products under? Or maybe wear it when you don't wear foundation because I believe you said you don't always wear foundation but idk. Def try it again though!
Do you feel like having a neutral skin tone helps? I’m always on the lookout for products that go well with neutral skin.
@@kelleymccandless6450 Neutral skin tones look good with pretty much any type of under tone. We have it easier than most. Like we can do both cool and warm tones and it will look good. Maybe you dont think something looks good but it actually does? Or are you positive you have a neutral undertone? Like I said neutral tones can get away with almost anything. But about the bronzer I don't think the bronzer looked red on her at all. Its def a warm bronzer but more golden warm. If you search "Drugstore Maven" here on RUclips she loves the flower beauty liquid bronzer and shes light neutral I believe.

I find most of colourpops products are cheaper than long standing drugstore brands these days, such as covergirl, loreal, maybelline and their products are more consistent in quality. For that reason, I actually like shopping colourpop more than any other brand considered "drug store"
Bronzing Essence drops are best when added into foundations or moisturizer.

I would consider Colourpop affordable to mid range because in the U.K. the shipping costs can add up. On another note, I wish I could get Honest Beauty and Em Cosmetics in the U.K.

I think the patchiness on your face areas is not caused because of products, you just need a little bit of exfoliation :)
