I remember my first time on the 1/4 mile, pretty much the same feeling :) Once you start this journey there’s no turning back😄 got my F13 down from 13.3 to a 12.4, can’t wait to go back next year and chase even better times

Yeah this can't be... I know that BMW offers some kind of "unrestricted speed" option on some of its cars, but 127 mph seems really low. I remember taking a stock Kia Forte over 205 km/h a couple of times back in the day.

It definitely depends on your needs. I went with the non M because I do like 36k miles a year and drive and park in nyc, so I didn’t want to have to worry about putting on miles or if it gets scratched.
I’m not new to bmw but it will be my 1st B58 so I’m going all out! Here down in FL both M and non M 340i’s are everywhere on the used car markets. F chassis is about a $10k difference in models though. I’m just curious if the difference is just cosmetic or real performance gains?
@ between the 340i and the M340i there’s def a slight difference in power and reliability. People say the gen 2 b58 in the m340i is better. But at the end of the day you’ll still have a b58 in the 340i, you’ll be able to make power if you want, it will be reliable, and imo the f30 looks better.

Times mentioned in magazines are street not drag strip. More funny hearing you didn’t know how basic drag racing works with all the “Mexico” racing done on this channel.
Street or drag strip provide the same numbers on xdrive (I tested). With stock power it doesn't make a difference, 0 wheel spin. Yeah I've always done my runs on the street. Definitely learned a thing or two with this experience.
@ they aren’t 1:1. Different asphalt and grip factor between a drag strip and street asphalt. Your draggy matched track times and mph? This video showed diff.
I've seen 12.9 out of those at the track, under super ideal conditions, bone stock not using launch control. Don't know where car and driver or anyone else got 13.6 or 13.3, that's a skill issue or they couldn't get traction on the asphalt and it spun.
I really can’t believe that car has a limiter my car came from the factory without any limiter and I noticed it when I was going 145 and it kept pulling in my slow ass 428
