    Excellent overview! It is my experience it is possible to leave the blue locking tab in the "down" position (1:30) and successfully close the rear access door; this typically results in a 13.B2.D2 as well.

    If all else fails you’re looking at replacing the pick up assembly

      +DarthJar If the issue still persist, please contact our phone support team for further assistance. Please follow these steps to reach them.
      Step 1. Open link: support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
      Step 2. Select the product type.
      Step 3. Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
      Step 4. Select the country from the drop-down.
      Step 5. You should see the HP phone support number.

      @@HPSupport I don’t need to contact your phone support team. I replaced the pick up assembly on my 607 and fixed the jamming issue. There’s a reason HP discontinued this model so quickly.
