Excellent overview! It is my experience it is possible to leave the blue locking tab in the "down" position (1:30) and successfully close the rear access door; this typically results in a 13.B2.D2 as well.

Select the product type. Step 3. Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option. Step 4. Select the country from the drop-down. Step 5. You should see the HP phone support number.
@@HPSupport I don’t need to contact your phone support team. I replaced the pick up assembly on my 607 and fixed the jamming issue. There’s a reason HP discontinued this model so quickly.
