That was a pike mate, grab a hardbody bream lure and cast in the rocky shallows, or work the flats for a Flattie, be better eating that a salmon 😂👍🏻👍🏻

They're Snook, Alex. They're okay to eat. Easy to fillet. They need to be 45cm to keep.

Half a snook is my favourite bait for gummy and school sharks from Lincoln to past Ceduna.
Not bad eating filleted when fresh and rolled in flour then shallow fried in butter👌

Great video guys, that fish you called a barracuda is a pike the fish she caught next is a tommy ruff bloody wa people call them herring and the bigger fish is a snook, all great fun on soft plastics

All the key species are at their feet mate, Big bream and flathead in the shallows
@@rothburger Yeah, I'm a little bemused at the focus on salmon, particularly where they are. Maybe just a personal view, though (I hate the taste of A. Salmon!). Still, very much enjoy watching these guys...

Go and give either salmon hole or millers hole a go. Will get a lot more variety of fish as it’s off the southern ocean. Salmon hole is always good for gummy’s
