$200 is not bad at all for what you get here, the owner seems really nice and also passionate about sound design, even gave me some building tips in YT comments not long ago!
This reminds me of my Strymon Deco, with maybe a touch more delay time and repeats, plus more modulation options. Super versatile pedal! I’ll be on the lookout.
Coolness 😎 … played with joy and verve. Merry Christmas and thank you for years of Great demos and all the work that went into making them. 🎄🎅🏻🎸👨🏼⚕️🫶✌️♾️. Cheers/Slainte.
I'll be replacing a deco with this perhaps? Love the deco, but I just had a flint blow up on me, and I want smaller footprint. This for my deco spot, and a harmonious monk + talisman to replace flint I think.
Just realised you sort of created a whole album more or less doing this video! Also it made my day when i saw you use in my opinion the best guitars in the world - Vantage. My VP 710 was my first and is my best one.
Hey thanks so much, making music is the best part of this gig! Always misunderstood Vantage as a pawn shop brand until I found this Entertainer. Pretty much anything early 80s MIJ is beyond compare 👊💥👊
This man could plug into a ham sandwich and I'd be clambering to the deli for deli meat and swiss because I couldn't help the hankering a single moment longer
This is somewhat similar to the (now discontinued) Moog MF Chorus, which I have and love given it's less a chorus and more a complete freak box of weird noises. That can't really do delay though.
At Andy does the delay go into self oscillation? Can the expression pedal control the feedback/repeats or just the delay time ? As always thank you for your amazing demos.
They need to bring back gristleizer desktop styled rack pedals, this pedal board compact stuff has gotttaagoooo..(thanks for the great demos over the yrs !!)
Many "random" effects are essentially aperiodic modulation. In other words, a less predictable modulation that has no overt-and-obvious up-and-down to it. The Loke may well employ this, but one can achieve aperiodic modulation by simply sticking two of the same effect in series. So, two phasers, two choruses, two tremolos, or two modulated delays in series. Set them each to different speeds, or even the same speed (because they aren't both sweeping in sync), and you can achieve semi-random sounds.
@@ardiris2715. Well I guess the question then is what the fuck are you talking about? You say lack of blend is a dealbreaker, and then acknowledge that the pedal has what amounts to blend control. Are you saying your brain can only handle the concept of blend if it’s a single knob? Or you’re too cool to suffer the indignity of adjusting two knobs? Or what?
Random vibrato modulation is one of the greatest gifts digital tech has given us for effects.
Andy is so good at choosing music to play that really highlights the pedal.

This could be a perfect always on pedal for those who always want a little saturation and a touch of delay as their base tone.

I really like the deco in stereo.
Always a huge treat to listen and watch your demos Andy. As always; you’re the G.O.A.T.
Thanks so much! ✌️
Awesome features, sound, and footprint.

Thank you so much for watching over the years! Merry Christmas and happy new year! ✌️❤️
Sweet demo. Versatile and great sounding. Another great pedal from Fjord Fuzz!

Now I want it so badly
Great demo once again. Very unique pedal. Definitely going on my list to check out.
Even if I’m not necessarily interested in the pedal being demoed, I still watch just to hear Andy’s playing.
Great demo 🙌
Was expecting this to be more than $200. Looks like a cool pedal.
Pretty slick sounding! Nice malekko ekko 616 always chilling in the back

Thanks, now one of my favorite “he could plug into…” comments ❤️
Haha great name for an Andy pedal. ‘The ham sandwish
4:45, totally Explosions in the Sky!
Awesome playing
Thanks a lot!
NICE !!!!!!!
someone needs to A-B this with the Deco
Wow, this thing looks like it comes directly from the 50's in USSR 😮😍
Great demo! Does the pedal use a pt2399 chip?
Thanks, I believe this is FV-1. Min delay on a 2399 is only 30ms.

It lives on the second floor. That initial demo was fire by the way. Is it something you wrote for the demo or is it based on something?
Thank you! Yes, wrote the intro tune just for the demo. My drummer friend in Germany made the drum track and it helped inspire the riffs!
At Andy does the delay go into self oscillation? Can the expression pedal control the feedback/repeats or just the delay time ?
As always thank you for your amazing demos.
Yes, it will self oscillate (I show this a few times). The Exp controls the Delay Time. Thanks for watching!
I see the PastFX Elastic Mattress in the background, did you demo that already?
I have not, they’ve actually made a newer version since checking this one out. Some day!
@@AndyDemos Makes sense, thanks for that info!
Tone Loke! Sounds like it has a lot of Duane Denison potential
Haha absolutely! Short delay is very overlooked innit?
I know he's a nice guy, I like him just fine.....
What's the difference between this and the Strymon Deco? (serious question)
Same category but not at all the same circuit. They both go after short, tape-style delay and modulation but have different features and tones.

Love Andy’s videos. Pedal isn’t for me .
I reached the point where omitting a blend knob on virtually any pedal is a dealbreaker.
(:
I mean, this has fully independent wet/dry controls, though. Doesn't get any more blendy than that!
Wet and dry volume controls = blend.
No shit. Here's a cookie.
LMFAO

But, is it better than a TC ELEC ALTER EGO X4 ???? 🎶🎸🤷♂️
Yes haha
