Roland died of natural causes/old age before the allies invaded Germany
There is evidence that he was served to the Führer as food was runnin out in Berlin!
Roland was filmed in 1931 and 1933 by Pathé News and died in 1935 because of lung edema.
They had four other Rolands following him, but this one is the Original.
So the year 1939 is wrong.
