Federal agents can now arrest undocumented migrants in churches

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are now able to enter churches and schools to arrest migrants who are suspected of being in the country illegally.
The San Fernando Cathedral, like many other churches around the nation, is filled with people on a Sunday afternoon. But now they could see federal arrests take place in their place of worship.
That's causing people like Alberto Ruiz to feel uneasy. Churches used to be considered sensitive areas during the Biden administration. But since President Trump retook the Oval Office, that has changed.
