I don’t understand this assumption. When the director tells me to walk through the door and be angry I become angry and walk through the door. What technique? I don’t need a technique to know what angry is. I have been angry 10 million times in my life. I simply clone the emotion and behave accordingly. Is this not what other people do? I am definitely not pretending. I literally become angry. Or sad or confused, or whatever the scene requires. Isn’t this what everyone does?
