I have seen near about 500 suspense thriller (including Hollywood, Indian, and other countries) films throughout my life and I will put it within the first five films I have ever seen throughout my life. Outstanding performance by everyone specially after 30 minutes of starting of the film. Must watch. Otherwise you will miss a lot.

Manjummel boys is a very good movie ,based on true story ,but this movie has some negative effect, first is the indian police with how they miss behaved with those guys who went to the police station to seek help ,indian police force is well known for their bad language they use with citizens and how they treat indian citizens with no respect ,the indian police missuse their power always and in this movie you can see that clearly, the second thing was the indian rescue team which did not have the guts to do their job they could not even save the guy who fell in the hole shame on them ,this job was done by one of his best friend, this movie is based on true story, and how the indian system is a big failure and a big mess, I feel very sad for indian citizens and things they face in their own country.
The budget is because of the set they had to make. The biggest reason they couldn't shoot this movie entirely in that cave is because they could not take the huge camera inside the actual pit.
