Nothing better than a quiet and private campsite near babbling brooks. I didn’t think places like this existed anymore. Truly camping at its finest. As always Cat you captured the essence of the great nomad life and you shared it with us. I love too how you always share just being your beautiful self open and transparent. Thanks for the wildflower shots too. 💕
What could be better than having it raining out side and sitting in the Cabin Camper or Tent having a cup of coffee of hot chocolate, I really like it when the thunder and lightning is very close!
I envy your courage and freedom. A person who owns little is truly free. As long as you don't go to bed hungry, there is little left to want...Looking forward to your next adventure.
The TETONS ARE BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO CAMP my wife and I spent a week up there we had 11' 1/2 foot Vista liner in the back of our pickup great memories . Enjoy your videos keep it up 👍
Nice camp, glad wasn’t a nasty storm. I like your mix of good gear commentary and pretty place filming and such a nice manner. As I sit typing up my notes on caring for more people sick w COVID, your vids makes it a little less depressing and helps keep me prepping for my next camping vacation. Thanks!
What a great way to start Sunday by watching some of the beauty of this great country. Thank you so much for your work at sharing this beauty. My wife and I also don't like crowds and prefer peaceful surroundings with the sounds of nature,.
I just went to Yellowstone and Grand Teton NP beginning of June for the first time & before the wildfires. So incredibly beautiful-words do not describe. Your video gives a great idea of what it’s like. I dispersed camped in my truck (no camper yet) & was happy as a clam. I’m desirous to video my adventures like you do. I plan on going back...once is not enough!! If you get the chance you should take the NE exit out of Yellowstone through Cooke City and traverse down the stunning scenic byway through the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. You’ll never forget it!!! Thanks for sharing your travels!
Jackson Hole looks the same as it did 25 years ago when I was through there last, except for all those people... wow! huge crowds. I'm glad I got to experience some of the best places in this country before they all became over-run.
yep, i played in bars, and resort bars, solo acoustic, texas to alaska and back, 5 months per summer, 23 summers.... and in 2008 i had scheduled 4 gigs in 4 evenings at 2 places, in jackson the chatter was so loud all 4 nights...the loudest chatter i ever heard. it completely drowned out my music it triggered profuse sweating, and emotional swings, one minute i was sad, next minute i didnt care, next minute i was outraged...lol the money was ok, people were having a ball, they were recapping their adventures and celebrating.... my amp was turned all the way up and could barely here my voice or the guitar when driving out of there i decided not to play jackson anymore its such an amazing place i cant blame people for being so giddy so happy and i told both bar managers they were wasting money on musicians, lol
You remind me of Cheryl Hines from the show Curb your Enthusiasm. You look like you could be her sister. I wish I had someone who has the desire to enjoy this country the way you do. What your doing with your life is how I want to do it and sometimes I feel like I'm being held back by the relationship I'm in. Your video has inspired me to keep dreaming about my own campsite in the Tetons.... and I want to thank you for that.
As I sneak this video at work my mind wanders back home to my Jeep and I wish I could travel the roads where you are,,,you have even made me hungry,,,bummer 3 more hours to go,,,,,,😘
You are getting younger before my eyes. Camping and hiking in the mountains is good for you, not many things that one can do to turn back the clock but hiking and camping with a grateful heart seems to do the trick every time. You've discovered the Fountain of your Youth.
20 years ago in my 4cyl Nissan pickup truck with all my possession, I pulled into Jenny Lake late at night. I couldn’t afford to stay in hotel. I was awaken by Park Ranger for illegally parked the next morning but she let me pass. I got to enjoy the best view on Earth! Couldn’t take any photos b/c I didn’t have a camera and smartphone wasn’t a thing yet. Wow, just wow! What a magnificent place.
Awesome video 👍👍👍👍👍👍 and enjoying the video and watching now nice looking place the camp ground you have and beautiful country colorful country too Catherine 👌😎❤️
Your videos are absolutely beautiful! I just recently discovered your page and I find myself binging all of your content because its so wonderful. What a wonderful life you've set up for yourself. Thank you for taking us along with you.
WOW! that bug, you know the ENVY bug has grabbed me again. of all the awesome video's i have watched, this is right there in the top 3! what a great location, that brook/stream, the view, AND seeing you all cozy in your home, cooking, i just can't say enough about the contentment, peace and quiet of being there no one else around. dang, yup right up there in the top 3! i thank you for that video. that was absolutely awesome. good looking dinner also. that dang ENVY bug really bit into me this morning! now i have to wait another week? can't hardly stand it. God Bless, stay safe.
Sunday ritual, sitting here waiting with my cup of coffee. Lifesaver makes a 5 gallon jerrycan with a built in filter. That would probably be a great investment for you. It has a built-in pump where you can pressurize the can so it flows out like a faucet. Then you could transfer the water right into your RV tank.
Omg!!! My first vid of yours and don't know why. Thanks for sharing. I scrolled your comments because i couldn't believe you had dislikes? Safe travels!
Raining is good. Hope it helps out the drought situation and wildfire... Yeah, stunning view and running stream at the camp site. It is like living in heaven
Even though it was raining, I could watch your videos of you driving from Jackson to through the Grand Tetons all day. Please stay in that area and give us more videos of the Jackson/Teton/Yellowstone area, it never grows old.
Catherine, You must be a very good cook, The food you cook always looks so good and makes me hungry; Grand Teton is one of the most beautiful places in our country and it's even more beautiful when you're there. Thank you for sharing your videos.

It looks like the same spot her van was parked. It’s very sad! 💔😢
I was thinking the same exact thing, looks so eerily like the exact spot
Can remember lighting that propane stove in the late 1970s with a Bic and spaghetti.😄😎

One of my best memories of a road trip when I was 12( mid 70s) was Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole Arch and Yellow stone. Thanks for the memories.

Home and homey in the big, wide sweep of the Wyoming wilderness. Top that off with a gourmet meal. Lucky you, lucky us!

Lovely thank you Catherine.
Wow, the last time I was in Jackson Hole was as a child in 1964. I don't remember any crowds at all. I think things have change a little since then.

Thanks for sharing. Don't you love the smells of remote woods after a rain?
I do!
Great! You got the rains that hopefully quenched the wildfires and cleared the skies of smoke! Nothing smells better than the air after a rainstorm.
... always a pleasure hangin' out with you, and your beautiful, thoughtful, videos. Blessings!
