Hi everyone, at 15:58, g' should be 5 and not 4. The derivative of 4 + 5x is 5 and not 4.
fortunately you noticed it.
would the answer be 92(2x-3)^3/(4+5x)^5
The Organic Chemistry Tutor knew it haha
Isabel Hunter I got the same answer as well
Isabel Hunter Yes but I got the answer as -92 not positive 92. Check it please.
thx for helping me fail less in calculus
how do ya managee to fail 'less' in calculas :)

Man that's the dream of every calculus student to fail less in calculus 😭
I am going to pass calculus 😂😂I don't want to fail
Yo this is retarted math
16:00 that 4 should be a 5. This guy is so good at teaching that now you can even catch the mistakes.
Yeah, check the top comment, though. Three years ago he pinned the top comment to correct the mistake.
Ukr i kept on solving and solving till i finallt figured out the mistake
I was about to say that!
I felt proud of myself when I spotted it :P
I wouldn't have spotted the mistake if I didn't understand this stuff so it's a nice feeling
Me as a complete 0 in maths seeing this got super confused and I was pretty sure I am not mistaken
SUCH. A LIFE. SAVER. You make calculus so easy to understand in one video when my prof can't teach me anything in a month.

Literally, I feel the same!! I thank this man :DD
I agree bro. I have a test tomorrow and I am studying as much as I can. I came to the comments to check if he had mentioned the error and he did. He is a literal goat, thanks so much!
I don't even bother to ask questions in class anymore. Whenever I'm lost I just know you'll have a video to explain it. Fresher in college here, and you've proved more helpful than all my lecturers. God bless you!
Bro, if u or any of your friends need any help in maths assignment i can do, i will charge the least amount, moreover sometimes i will do it for free for small assignment.
I have some financial issue, if there is anyone do let me know.

When I hear your voice, I know I'll be alright. If it weren't for you I would be lost. Took me through Chemistry, Physics and now Calculus. Thanks for your clarification on all matters!

This guy needs to start his own college.
He is damn good...

I don't know when professors will understand that THIS is type of the teaching we need. I don't care about the origin of the equation, who thought of it, when they thought of it, blah blah blah. Just teach me what I need to know to pass your class. Literally paying $1,000 for a course and I learned a huge chunk of it in 18:39. smh. You're a life-saver dude.
They swear they did something when they showed the "proof" like anyone gives af
He's the best👩🏫
Thank you so much, your video's they bringing light.. 👩🎓You make everything easy to understand 🙏
@@michaeldavid254 proofs are actually kinda useful......
The problem is that most teachers don't even do that. Like i think the best way to go about a course is to help us vizualize how and when and why we use these in the real world. That way they feel more practical and useful. Then they can tell us like ok this is a matrix, usually it is used to show this and that in real life and first class can be fun and examples only. Then he/she can say ok so we know what it is lets learn how to find it. Then the explantion can proceed like with this guy. When they don't tell us why we learn certain things we tend to forget them because we don't build a network of information in our brain. THATS WHY SCHOOL SUCKS.

"What?! Still searching for Math help on RUclips? Are the videos from 2006 really helping?" .....Can someone take down that annoying ad please.
masikhonzane ntipha
Ikr, it comes up on almost every math video.
Right? I feel personally attacked every time that pops up. Although I just say "yes... yes it is...*pressing the skip button intensifies*"
So according to their logic, we should completely disregard any math that's more than 15 years old. Guess that means all calculus, algebra, geometry and well, just about everything else in math is completely useless. And here I thought Newton's Principia Or Euclid's Elements were groundbreaking. But no, they're OLD so they're not relevant anymore. I'm sure whatever these guys come up with is better because it's NEW. Yup, just the sort of people I want to be teaching me.
lol I've been getting a new one that says the same thing about American math videos. The jist of it is that I can't find Canadian math videos and the American ones are useless for Canadians, cuz I guess American math is different somehow? I dunno. It's stupid as hell. These idiots should be banned from advertising on educational videos. The very people who fall for this crap are the ones who need a real education most of all.
And 6 months later its still there lol
I got mad too, at first. But then I realised that this guy is earning some $ off of that annoying ad. I have no qualms with that.
this is amazing! I had a 40+ minute lecture on chain rule and it felt like he was speeding through it without me understanding any of it, but this was even shorter and i fully understand!
Same! My professor would just keep rambling and not stop to explain like in the video. This guy is a huge life saver that I had to teach some of my friends my own way by crediting the video and we understood it better.
The Organic Chemistry Tutor should change to a broader name. You safe lives of students, lectures and every concerned party. When I fail to get it from a lecture I know you will clarify it and when a lecturer fails to clarify you are always there to help him or her. When I am hopeless you bring me back to life. Your soothing voice is a powerful mind massaging tool and it makes me relax and sometimes fall asleep. Thank you for every thing in life and may God bless and give you more days and strength to continue with your calling.
The approach where you learn on practice is way better than listen 2 hours lectures
Tbh , one should always read their textbook theory and then try simple practice problems in their textbook. Watching lecture after doing this is more beneficial. It becomes easier to grasp the concept when you force your mind
You are the best at making complicated things simple, thank you!
All thanks to the organic chemistry tutor I always run to this channel whenever I got maths problems
I just got out of my calculus class confused and unsure of this rule, now I feel like this guy should be my professor.
My teacher taught us this in one week, i learnt it in 18 mins from you
After a decade of looking at tutorials, this guy is, by far, the best. Hands down the best.
After watching so many of your videos, you're basically my math, physics, and chemistry lecturer in 1 now.
never thought i would find a very simple tutorial on youtube.. all others just explained it like we're already understood about those things..
thank you so much

Yo you saved me so much. After 3 classes of my professor going over this and breaking it down I just couldn't understand. You just state it like its simple and it helps my mind to believe that it is indeed simple, which it is. Thank you.

Thanks so so so so so much. I have an exam in two days and have been going to all my lectures, tutoring twice a week and still not getting it. Everyone just goes so fast and never slows down. It's so nice the pace you go, I finally understand what I am doing.
It really does get easier! I love the way you broke it down. I was able to see the simplicity I couldn’t before. Thanks!
You explained and demonstrated this better in less than 20 minutes than my professors did in an hour and a half of lecturing
I've been in business calculus for a month now and haven't learned a single thing in class or the textbook.....until now. wow RUclips really is the move and its people like this dude who make learning so much easier. thanks homie
Its crazy watching your videos. Currently studying for my engineering license and need to watch these videos to remember basic calc properties. I remember watching your videos 7 years ago at the junior college. Its such a trip to still watch your videos many years later. I remember struggling so bad on this stuff and after just completing reinforced concrete design. I realize that it wasn't so bad. I guess what I'm trying to say is that as the years go on, your going to realize that this stuff wasn't so bad and you'll just honestly laugh at yourself lol. This is the reason why many people don't go to college because with each new semester, comes new emotions, new struggles and most importantly a new version of you. And "new" can be terrifying.
Each semester we all have ever taken continues to add more value to your life and increase your critical thinking skills. You may or may not use calculus for your career but the critical thinking skills will reveal itself when you need it the most. Don't give up on your educational journey. Your future self is waiting for you on the other side.

Bro you don't even know how thankful I am to you. I'm a sophomore and this is my teacher's first year teaching calc, and she rushes things. She is also giving us this stuff that we "learned" yesterday on the unit test tomorrow. I had no clue how to do this and thanks to you I understand it now. Ill try and ace the test tomorrow :)
Well the tests done and u r no longer a sophomore...but how did the test go...?

I have no words to thank you mannn !!! I just learned the whole differentiation lesson our lecturer taught for 3 months in just 2 days from your videos ❤❤❤
Dude. You rock. This is awesome. I've never seen it explained so simple.
I've been looking a while for more complex problems for the chain rule and the examples at the end helped me out a lot. Thanks mate!
Dude you are for real the best, even 5 years later, thank you.
He's a great teacher
Despite of that g'=4 at 16' error (He should edit or clarify that); he explains from grounds up which makes it easier to digest.
Excellent job!👍
I bombed the quiz and hw last week with my prof's method, popped this on, now I understand this unit. my prof literally writes an equation doesn't help and acts like douche in front of the class. I pay tuition for him to say I'm tired and you tell me, but I literally skipped his class came to library and now I fully understand the concept
Your channel is the only reason I'm passing AP Calc. Thank you for all that you do!
I know you get a ton of thank you comments, but seriously, thank you so much. I was starting to believe I was just stupid. But you made this so easy
I think some people learn better when they're taught the easy way first. The textbook our professor uses dives into complex examples immediately after learning the chain rule, combining both chain and product/quotient rules. This is very tough if you're new to the idea of derivatives. Very thankful for this video, thank you TOCT.

Thank you, your videos have been very helpful. Concepts are explained in a make-sense fashion that takes the length of the video instead of a span of a week or more with missing information.
