This channel makes me feel like I have a friend in the gymnastics world on my side. It’s always been this mysterious, elite, and exclusive club no one could really touch. But channels like this make it more accessible to more people. Truly beautiful work. I appreciate you so much!

This channel is perfect for Lance, he's definitely in his element. He does make you feel like he is your friend because honestly, that's exactly how he feels. He's as easy going as he sounds so if you ever have a question, don't hesitate to ask him. (He has a wicked sense of humor as well) 😂

Great analysis! Nemour did not leave France, she still lives and trains there; however, she represents Algeria for the reasons you mentioned.

@@ctalcantara1700 thank you very much for the information. I did not know that and it’s very interesting. It seems a bit of an awkward situation but either way, she did great bars and very happy for her. She won. My best.

Great video!!! Came here after watching the one you did 5 years ago.
Indeed, she compete for Algeria 🇩🇿 but still leave in France 🇫🇷, trains in the same gym, and with the same coaches. Coaches who were wrongfully accused by the French Gymnastics Federation of mistreating their athletes but cleared by the French justice system. It’s such a shame when power plays interfere.

The ability to flow from one skill to the next is really impressive. It was a great routine. I'm interested to see if the new code affects what she does and how she develops the AA for the next quad. She could be one of the big AA names in 2028 and at Worlds beforehand.

@@charlestoddsullivanforpres6628 those are my same thoughts. Kaylia has great skill, so I assume she will adapt on bars very well. I believe she’s very motivated to improve and I’m looking forward to what she puts together as well. She really does have beautiful flow in her bars. For a routine that needs such specific precision, she is very consistent with a routine. Thanks and my best.

The new bars code won't change her huge advantage as a consistent bars worker who never score lower than 15.3 at the Olympic year. She never got the half turn credit even in the Paris quad. The question is if she can maintain her inbar for the next quad.

That is what catches the eye in the first seconds. There are many gymnasts who seem to make a great effort to swing on bars, while she flows like a feather

She actually qualified 5th (4th after the third US gymnast was dropped) and finished 5th in the all-around competition in Paris, so she was very close. Her other events may not be that impressive, but the bars set is huge - probably the best bars routine ever? :) And when I heard how she was treated by the French gymnastics federation, I was like "wtf is wrong with these people?! How can you let go such a gem?"
