Finally someone on RUclips that knows what they are doing and gives practical advise. Tired of people getting crazy over f1.4 lenses for fashion and portraiture when all that does is narrow the depth of field to much that you can't get the nose, eyes and ears all in focus. If you want the background out of focus just move the subject further away from it.
True, 1.4 is only good for full body at a bit of distance to get a usable depth of field. Alot of people shooting 1.4 super close to the subject, thats almost an unusable depth of field. 😂
Shooting with the umbrella barely attached is such a good tip, thank you for making these.
Yep along came wind; fortunately, the umbrella bent and saved my flash wish I knew that tip last month lol,

this guy is the BEST on RUclips. Trust me I would know. 25 years in the game. He is not telling you nonsense like those Westerners. Shooting at 1.4, he is correct do not go below 2.8. Straight to the point with useful information for real application.

VERY good tip on keeping the shaft loose.....but that all depends on which way the wind is blowing and it's not always possible to point it "downwind" :-)

Interesting. This was the first time I've ever heard a photography instructor say to crop at the knee joint. Usually you crop above or below a body's joint.

Good video. One question on the changing of outfits. Have you considered using a pop-up changing tent? They are quite affordable, give plenty of privacy and are spacious enough for the model to stand up

Have you considered a hand strap? I can't imagine shooting without one. It's small enough that it doesn't get in the way, but it provides an extra bit of security against dropping your camera. They're only a few dollars and worth at least trying one to see if you like it. Of course, I'm sure you already know much more about them than I do.
Rest assured Miley 😍😍😍 He did tried using the straps before but it keeps getting on while he shoots. That's why he's not using it. I do think he's grip is quite strong to hold the camera while shooting 💖💖💖 Thank you for ur suggestion n concern. Andrew really appreciate it 💖 💖 💖
