If they did these w/o promoting the actual products used in the vids than there wouldn’t be any context to these videos.
I think the bigger problem would be if after watching I didn’t believe that these women used these product IRL. But they don’t come off that way.
If they don't use their own product lines, people would be bashing them for not even trusting their own products 🤷♂️
Oh I think you misunderstood what I meant. Regardless of whether they "rep" for these products, I leave the video believing that they indeed use these products in real life. In that case, to me, it doesn't matter if it's their product or not, they use the product, I see their skin, etc.... so I'm getting the context that the products used work, for them anyway, and that's what I come for.

JLo uses lots of glycolic acid and PROBABLY uses Dr Lancer's products, but who knows. She probably gets everything for free or spends thousands of dollars.

I use Shani Darden Textured Retinol for over a year. It is truly bomb amazing! I've used other retinols but never got the even tone and reduced pores like I have with hers. The Textured Retinol is better for those who don't have oily skin. You don't need much either. And I now leave the house without make up and get compliments on my skin.
I’m using her Retinol Reform and my skin is dry and sensitive and I (personally) love it!! But yeah, you should try it first. I guess both of them are amazing. 😍

Shani is using her own product line Shani Darden Rentiol . She has 6 products for skincare. Cleaner, moisturizer, serum, toner, eye cream. And these are good . Ive tried them. But the absolute bomb is Shani Darden Retinol. IT ABSOLUTLEY WORKS. I use it about once a week. It really has reduced my pores and brightened my skin.
She reminds me of Kathy Bates and Jessica Alba. Her skin is so beautiful ✨✨

It is not only Hyaluronic acid in the bottle there is always humectant and other moisturizing ingredients on serums. So you have everything in one bottle. If you need additional moisturizer you can ad a cream but it depends on your skin. As she said all skin are different so do what works best for you. :)

I think Shani looks great and I appreciate her suggestions. I wish she had ideas for brown spot removal on our arms and chest.
Try sunscreen more often. That should help. Also, if it's affordable to you, IPL treatments (on the body) should help, as well. I recommend that you do not do DIY treatments - like lemon to bleach the skin. There is also retinoid lotions that you can use, but if you're doing that then you must use sunscreen daily.
P.S. I just got my temporary aesthetician license yesterday 🙂

Wouldn't eye Makeup remover be better to remove the eye makeup? I stopped using micellar water because of I refuse to use cotton pads that goes to the landfill. It's oil cleaning or Balm all the way for me. And Only cotton pads for eye makeup removers . Lancome Bifacil is my HG eye makeup remover 😍😍

I hate being this early. It leaves me alone with my confusion. Please tell me she was joking? Did she insinuate Hyaloronic acid was a moisturizer? And says she likes to mildly exfoliate while cleansing and then a second later mentions she prefers chemical exfoliation? Also what was with this edit? She was repetitive in some parts and honestly I am not trying to be mean but I was caught off guard on multiple occasions wondering what she was talking about. Using retinol 6 times a week and exfoliating every other day but not on the same day as retinol? What, how long is her week or did I just misunderstand her? I'm so confused. No hate but I need an explanation, especially on her explanation on HA 🙈

Yeah HA is NOT a moisturizer and if you dont use an actual moisturizer on top of it, it will dry your skin because all HA does is attract water. All of the water it brings to the surface will just evaporate if you dont properly moisturize with an occlusive.
Hyaluronic acid is a humectant- binds water to the skin- which ideally should be sealed in with some type of moisturizer. However, she has normal/oily skin and for her, she finds that the HA is enough. I don't have a problem with the "mild" exfoliation while cleansing with the gauze; my problem with showing the gauze in this video is that is isn't environmentally friendly, but of course, would make sense using in her practice her hygenic reasons. Physical exfoliants aren't typically recommended because people tend to go ham/overboard with them, damaging their skin barrier. Stronger retinoids (1% retinol and above, or tretinoin) can cause flaking and a light exfoliation using a damp, gentle wash cloth can help remove the excess..... but again, very gently. I could be wrong but from what I saw, I understood her to be saying that she used her retinol formula 6 days/week and the Dr. Gross chemical exfoliant wipes once per week/the off day?? Chemical exfoliation is most definitely preferred and does a far better job.. She also has lactic acid (a very gentle, moisturizing AHA) in her retinol formula. Hope that helps... Sorry, I'm long-winded. :)
HA is not moisturiser but it plump the skin with hydration like she said i think the serums formula can be different i used on before was so light but my new one is thick and has a moisturising ingredient with it so i don't add anything
As for retinol and acids it depends on your skin really... what she means is that she use it a lot and sometimes she uses the peel
As for cleansing step she uses gauze to gently exfoliate it's like quite gentle that she still needs other things to exfoliate her skin
Im like her i use scrubs sometimes and peels other times and i use retinol everynight

Clearly its not a big "no no". Everyone is different. If its working for her then how is it a "no no". Sheesh..
CAT.IN.THE. HAT. Because you need a moisturiser to moisturise and seal in all of your products. And she might have a very hydrated skin from the inside so her skin might not feel dehydrated from the outside. Plus you’re right it’s her skin so others shouldn’t get the idea that a moisturiser is not necessary.
A cleanser and a moisturiser is the first thing you need in your skincare routine and if you’re not using these then no point wasting your money on serums, treatments, toners, etc.

Anne Cheng you should wear spf in general everyday but it’s a must after LED because your skin is more prone to damage and more sensitive under sun.

Anne Cheng no if you wear spf during the LED treatment that will actually block the light from penetrating into your skin. So you need to have a clean face before you use LED.

SPF should always be your final step, but in the Daytime only. And if you wear makeup, it should go on right before your makeup.

The HA by the ordinary works just as good and it costs $5. I always tell my clients to use it. It's not about the brand or cost its about the ingredients

Madhavi Deshpande ikr. She said that micellar water is the best way to remove makeup... that’s so concerning, especially because she was trying to remove leftover makeup even up to the toner stage. Obviously it doesn’t remove makeup well if it doesn’t all come off.

If a product is formulated with a mixture of retinol and AHAs then it is fine since the product is formulated to work cohesively and is stable. However, it is not recommended to mix two separate / different products containing either retinol or AHAs because it may be too much for the skin to handle especially sensitive skin types and the potency of the ingredient may decrease.
