Yes I have two male vermilion and one female at our park. They are beautiful and last year the female had 3 baby birds, was so much fun watching them grow.
I have indeed seen them, and most likely, in the exact same spot where you are in this video! Huntington Beach Central Park, yes? I've been birding here since May 2024 and so far I have seem them every time I return. Just saw the two of them there yesterday on New Year's Day 2025!
