This song inspires me to think about when I was in my 20’s and a travel agent & thinking about how long ago that was! I see airplanes & dream! This is the Song that’s Always come to mind when I reminisce ✈️
Standing on the border Looking out into the great unknown I can feel my heart beating faster as I step out on my own There's a new horizon and the promise of a favorable wind I'm heading out tonight, traveling light I'm gonna start all over again And buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train See how far I can go I'm gonna go out dancing in the pouring rain And talk to someone I don't know I will face the world around me Knowing that I'm strong enough to let you go And I will fall in love again Because I can Gonna climb the mountain And look the eagle in the eye I won't let fear clip my wings and tell me how high I can fly How could I have ever believed That love had to be so blind When freedom was waiting, down at the station All I had to do was make up my mind And buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train See how far I can go I'm gonna go out dancing in the pouring rain And talk to someone I don't know I will face the world around me Knowing that I'm strong enough to let you go And I will fall in love again Because I can Well, I have walked through the fire And crawled on my knees through the valley of the shadow of doubt Then the truth came shining like a light on me and now I can see my way out I'm gonna buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train See how far I can go I'm gonna go out dancing in the pouring rain And talk to someone I don't know I'm gonna buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train Gonna have my breakfast with some pink champagne Gonna sail the ocean, gonna spread my wings Gonna climb that mountain, gonna do everything.
John Negri Idk I wasn't a big fan of the way she chose to sing live in this era, it was terrible in my opinion. Especially considering she had all of the tools to sound the same as when the song first came out and still does and instead she chose to do whatever this was.
What makes this band so professional is that even though the audience is dead asleep, they kept pushing this song hard. Very good. Oh, the audience? If they want to sleep, stay at home or get off your asses and move it on down the line.
i never been to a live singing like this mostly cause all they do is lip syncing, but i know for a fact that LeAnn is not, all the country singers out there LeAnn is the worlds best, just below Reba LeAnn is the one i would spend money to go see live
No, it's more like early-mid 2000s. There's another video from this concert of her singing "Probably Wouldn't Be This Way", which came out in 2003-ish, if I remember correctly.
I get it she has vocal talent, my question is why did she never become a Faith Hill or Shania Twain in the world of female country artist? Was it her downfall with infidelity in her marriage? Or poor management? Her career began fading relatively soon in her music career, she’s definitely a talented vocalist. Guess for some it’s just not meant to be….
A lot of country fans judged her & threw her under the bus for the affair while married. She's better off without them and they don't deserve her in the first place. Technically, her voice is off the charts and she's masterful at interpreting lyrics with that voice.
That long scarf thing hanging out of the front of her shirt is bugging the hell out of me! It serves no purpose and it looks stupid! My kingdom for a pair of scissors!
Driving the road in a 18 wheeler playing 90's country. In the late 90's some of the best times of my life!
That Beautiful woman knows she can sing
This song is terrific.
I loved it since i saw her music vid where she was very charismatic
I remember when this hit number 1

Amazing voice❤
She is breath taking
So much agree with you 💯 percent 👏 💯 percent 👏
Monster talent.
Still on my bucket list!!!
In the studio Lonnie Wilson's drumming made this sing just like many others from this time period.
Man the power in that little lady.
Leann Rimes and Carrie Underwood. Two of the greatest voices of any genre in the past 20 years.
austin teutsch Absolutely true! They are both incredible
Love Carrie Underwood to death, but she isnt LeAnn Rimes.
@@Bridging_the_Political_Divide LeAnn and Carrie both blow every other girl singer out of the water.
@@stevendudley5687 disagree, Carrie is annoying as hell
@@Xyrisze thank you!! i thought I was the only one who thought that
Standing on the border
Looking out into the great unknown
I can feel my heart beating faster as I step out on my own
There's a new horizon and the promise of a favorable wind
I'm heading out tonight, traveling light
I'm gonna start all over again
And buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train
See how far I can go
I'm gonna go out dancing in the pouring rain
And talk to someone I don't know
I will face the world around me
Knowing that I'm strong enough to let you go
And I will fall in love again
Because I can
Gonna climb the mountain
And look the eagle in the eye
I won't let fear clip my wings and tell me how high I can fly
How could I have ever believed
That love had to be so blind
When freedom was waiting, down at the station
All I had to do was make up my mind
And buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train
See how far I can go
I'm gonna go out dancing in the pouring rain
And talk to someone I don't know
I will face the world around me
Knowing that I'm strong enough to let you go
And I will fall in love again
Because I can
Well, I have walked through the fire
And crawled on my knees through the valley of the shadow of doubt
Then the truth came shining like a light on me and now I can see my way out
I'm gonna buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train
See how far I can go
I'm gonna go out dancing in the pouring rain
And talk to someone I don't know
I'm gonna buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train

Only real talent can pull off stuff like that live

Good God, what a babe
very well song
Fantastic! So beautiful and in this video she looks so much like Melissa Joan Hart who is also beautiful.
Like the origional version better than the jazz way she does it now.
Agreed!! 🎶
Me too idk why she changed it up a lot now she even sings it slow now which I don’t like either.
For sure. Just saw the new way….not a fan. It’s a great uptempo song. Love the drum beat.
Leann has the voice for singing and love her music and sexy eyes and body she will always be the best singer

Lol
2024 anyone?
2024
what year is this

It's like 2005 or 2006 because she sings "probably wouldn't be this way" and "nothing but love makes sense" from her 2005 album "this woman"
Aug.28, 2004, she was 22.
I noticed her voice is not that clear shes arrring all her words?
Its gotten worse over the years as well.
awesome, to bad the crowd sucked
Lol it sounds like she forgot the lyrics??
Her voice and Martina McBride's are so similar. Same with Carries.
...she didn't want to pay for any backup singers?
She doesn't need them.
She sings it weird here. I know I’m not the only one who thinks that. Her words are slurring and she doesn’t pronounce them all the way.
I get it she has vocal talent, my question is why did she never become a Faith Hill or Shania Twain in the world of female country artist? Was it her downfall with infidelity in her marriage? Very sloppy vocals. Mumbbly slurring words
Vocals are bad...
They are actually really good considering she was ill at this time if I’m not mistaken
@@gandalfthegrey8236 being ill isn't really an excuse for singing "see how far hi han ho" 😂
You should have done it for her then.. I'm sure you woulda killed it! 😊
why is she singing it all fucked up
I know that’s what I thought lol
Her vocals runs and hey's need to go away.
Yes, it's awful😞
Sloppy vocals...did not like
