I'm a German Japanophile now resident in Amerika but have only been to Japan twice, left Germany at age 10 and have been back 100 times. I feel much as you do, great attachment to the Heimatland but also great attraction to Japan for all sorts of reasons. Danke vielmals for your vlog.
Encountered this enchanting video by chance, to discover I’m seeing the very place my ancestors come from. My parents first met in Hambach. Like Nini, I live in another country, have done so all my life, and returning to this beautiful place is sublime. I adore it and miss it deeply. This film made a grown man cry, because it captured so beautifully the essence of this place

Great video.I visited Germany in 1994 and 1995 ,as a young medical student from London and I was really impressed by the discipline,cleanliness and the friendliness of the German people.The German countryside is really picturesque and absolutely breathtaking.Germans are very good at managing their resources and the world has a lot to learn from Germany.

I am a person og German heritage on my mother's side. Germany did not need Hollywood or anyone else to portray them negatively... they did a good job with that portrayal themselves..... as we all sometimes do .... we all share the same blood types.

I went sightseeing around the castles.(For example,Scholss Neuschwanstein and Burg Nurburg.)
