I am a Japanese person living in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, but I have never been to Ome-City, Tokyo, where you all visited😆 I visit Mt. Takao in Hachioji-City, Tokyo once every few years! I was very surprised that there are traditional Japanese houses left in such a mountainous area of Tokyo, and that you found this place.✨✨✨ And adding Japanese subtitles to this video must have been extremely difficult.💦 You have great sensitivity and talent for finding traditional and beautiful places in Japan.✨✨✨
Your videos are so lyrical and quite different from others. That's why I like these more than others. Seems like you know well about how to keep away from the hectic and severe life in Japan. It is surprising that mega city Tokyo has such a remote mountainous area, which lets human beings stay in harmony with nature. If I have a time and chance, I’d like to visit the place and forget about all the worries I always have. Thanks for such an inspirational video.😊
A city like Tokyo is nice, but the charm of nature and magnificent scenery are also attractive ✨😃 I think the two of you riding the monorail are so cute 🥰
Fantastic! The videos you make are beautiful, fun, and moving. They are wonderful works of art. Tourists who aim to see Shibuya, Mount Fuji or Kyoto should watch your videos.
Your voice is so sweet. I love to see all of your videos, they made me feel more comfortable and help me a lot in learning English. Thanks so much for your work.
I really love your content. It's so different from every other youtube channel which is loud, boisterous, and in your face. I don't know, but your videos seem to be an extension of yourself. The soft tone of your voice. The poetic narrations. All of this is so refreshing. It captivates you and draws you in. What a breath of fresh air. Beautiful content by might I say, the most beautiful lady in all of Germany. Thanks for sharing and I wish you much success!
nice! I was surprised and made a new discovery to find such a quiet and beautiful place so close to Tokyo.
Very happy to have run across your video and look forward to enjoying more. I smiled the whole time you two were going up the monorail. When I think of monorails in Japan, I think of something very fast and technologically advanced as you counted down to the monorail. I wasn't ready for that tiny, sort of scary conveyance. Very adventurous! So many beautiful, tranquil sights on your adventure, but that tea kettle on the shelf in the house at the top just blew me away. Thanks for this fun gift!
Wow I’ve been to Okutama during high school but never knew of the monorail 😳 Your vibe is so peaceful and lovely it made me feel so relaxed never felt the same from youtube videos. Thanks.
The station name must be Musashi Itsukaichi or 武蔵五日市 in Tokyo. The 武蔵塚駅 or (Musashi Tsuka(shi) station) is located in Kyushu, far far far away from Tokyo. Foreign tourists may go to Kyushu and find no such village there.
I watched this video 7 months ago, and it came back into my feed again today. When you mentioned about the monorail, my first thought was about something like the Ueno Zoo Monorail. I was surprised in a pleasant way at the actual monorail taking you two to the top of the mountain (and then down, later)! The monorail was ingenious and fully functional (maybe with some difficulty if the passengers were big-boned North Americans?) Seeing it the second time, I realize that it is built in a similar way to those used by farmers to transport picked mikan in hilly Wakayama farms.
That monorail looks so fun. If you like a place like this, I recommend you Shirakawa-go or Kamikochi. The latter is in the off-season though. By the way does cairn have anything to do with Köln?
This video with your choice of music is so beautiful that it took my breath away! I remember I visited this area and had BBQ at the riverside in my childhood. My father was evacuated in this area during the war. You are right, there is literally few information about that area,. It is one of the unexplored regions in the west of Tokyo, which seems more like Yamanashi. Thank you for sharing your precious adventure. This really led me to the world of a Japanese old falk tale. I will definately visit there during the week.
I'm Japanese. Subtitles are helpful for my English studying. I have been to Hinohara village about twenty years ago. It was a nice plase with rich nature. As I climbed the mountain, I could see many high-rise buildings of the capital in the distance, small in size. I remember the sight of much cedar pollen floating down from the mountains to the city like yellow smoke when the wind blew strongly. It was an unbearable sight for people with cedar pollen allergies... Mountains in autumn are so good. Your poetic narrative fits well with the scenery, it is nostalgic. It is fantastic, as if two beautiful elves came to a Japanese forest. Thanks for the great video.
Nice video, unobtrusive BGM. It was a video that could be watched in a relaxed and calm atmosphere. I look forward to your continued success. I'll also check out the other videos.
I don't think many Japanese people know that there is a lot of nature and clear rivers deep in the mountains of Tokyo. Breathing in clean air seems to purify your body. It was my first time to see a monorail running on a steep slope 🙂 Thank you for the refreshing video 👍 Lastly, as you may know, there are crimes targeting foreigners in “villages and other rural areas” in Japan as well. Please be very careful.
It’s wonderful scenery and also you both 🫶 So beautiful you are ❣️ Thanks for sharing your spot 👍 And then, best wishes for your great success in your future in Japan 🖐️🇯🇵🎉
your videos reminding me of Jonna Jinton youtube channel videos about sweden, softvoice, music, poetry, etc, . I have been to both sweden and japan, nice to see this channel,

It is refreshing to see the natural scenery of Tokyo through the eyes of you who has lived in a different culture. It makes me very happy.

Extremely beautiful wow!!!
Wow I’ve been to Okutama during high school but never knew of the monorail 😳 Your vibe is so peaceful and lovely it made me feel so relaxed never felt the same from youtube videos. Thanks.
