The reaction to the phone call is so real! I used to feel that way as a substitute teacher when they call at 5:30 am. I eventually stopped answering because I hated it! It is also your adrenaline triggering your "fight or flight response"

I find that writing letters to people helps a lot when an in-person tough conversation comes up, but slowly trying to become better at proudly standing behind saying no in person, on the phone, etc. Thank you for being you

I've been following you for at least over 4 years now and your videos have accompanied me through many many steps of my life (like going to live in Canada for the first time, then moving back to France and moving back to Canada again. I also had a terrible TERRIBLE time in 2019 when a chemical factory blew up in my city and when trying to escape for the weekend I was stuck, in shock, in a really cold train that had stopped in the middle of nowhere at like 10pm without any explanation and watching the video you'd posted at the time helped me SO MUCH that night. I just felt like I wasn't alone and I really enjoyed your comapny that night).
I'm really grateful for your channel and that you and your very lovely family agree to share all of that with us.

Same feeling about the phone calls-except it was for substitute teaching! Dreaded the late night or early morning summons. I would unplug our land line to avoid the calls. (No emails or texting back then.).

You are the only person (other than me) of whom I've ever heard, who adds Grape-Nuts into other cereals to keep the crunch on!
While it wasn't January, my sister got me the bonne maman advent calendar last year, but it came late, so I saved it and did it for my birthday, which is in early March. Late winter advent is a good idea I think, might do it again this year.
We have that cook book and my kids loved it when they were young and stilll use it today - they're 21 and 17 now 😂
Our TV remote has disappeared into the chaos so I have Grack beamed to the TV & my little girl just got SO EXCITED coz she also got those drum sticks 😅🎄 merry Christmas

I have a similar issue with phone calls. It's one of the things that's put me off going for a job I really want because I know lots of making/recieving phone calls will be involved. I'm going to really try and overcome this in 2024.
Can you please talk more about homesickness and how you manage this? How did you get on with homesickness moving out of your family home?

That is such a wise analysis of your fear of phone calls.
Hate phone calls too and never figured out my phobia but similar fears to you! Never call anyone either except my husband and mom! On an unrelated note, the AMOUNT of perfume you used!! I've never seen so much used 😂😅 doesn't it give you a headache? Is it a light perfume?
I also hate talking on the phone. I think it's because I prefer having conversations face to face so I can try to read their body language cues and facial expressions. Over the phone I feel disconnected and like I can't 'read' the other person.
You should come out with a book of all your favourite recipes ☺️ would definitely buy

I’m so sorry to hear about your bad experience in modelling 😢 you should check out Ro Mitchell as she does lots of videos on her experience of exposure therapy (for a different fear but can be relatable) and it might help?

I am sad that you are not Catholic. Because Christmas really starts at midnight Christmas Eve and lasts thru January. The 12 days of Christmas is from Christmas day on..... Advent is a minor lent, so it is meant to be preparing for celebrating the birth of Christ.
But the world has changed everything sadly ....
