Ha Thank you... don't tell them that, they won't let me hear the end of it. Yes, totally. It's the torque you really notice. It takes it to 515ft/lb of torque or something mental like that and you can feel it. The thing just punches no matter what gear you're in it pulls like a train. The way that the car is setup, you'll know this, it feels effortless. It's smooth changing gears etc. so you're not going to get that blow you away feeling, but it just keeps pulling! I am more in love with the car than when I picked it up. It has made it quick enough for anything you could want in a "premium" 4X4 for sure. Hope that helps!
We had a 2015 sdv6 sport sold it brought a 2021 d300 (basically same power) then now a 2018 tdv6 sport and I must say I’m very disappointed with the tdv6 I want to have it tuned because my sdv6 would throw us into our seats which our tdv6 doesn’t do :(
Different delivery for sure from the sdv6 for sure! Although my sdv6 exploded like so many others have experienced. I’m very disappointed in the brand and I want to live them as I really like the car. Just so disappointed in the brand itself.
Hey! Considering a RRS. How many km do you drive each year? Heard lots of horror stories about the reliability so I'm very concerned about getting a diesel. Btw, Alsace rocks! 😉
Hey man, very good question. I only picked it up in October, but it had 148k on it, it's now got 153k on it. I personally haven't had any issues as yet but I have heard the same myself. I can't say I'm the best person to ask, but time will tell and I'm sure I'll post a repair of it 😂are you in the Alsace too?
@@TheRSGarage Thanks for replying. I was looking for a well sorted model with under 100k km on it. Watching your videos made me rethink. I might get a fairly high mileage one and keep the extra money for other things. lol We all hear horrible stories about RR, but few have owned one and they are still selling every day. Can't be that bad 😝 Ps. Yes Im from the Alsace. When first watched your video, it kind of threw me off guard lol and I know your area pretty well also. I still love it! Really really happy with the car. I haven’t thought about a BOV but heard you can also remove the DPF as well for more sound and less muting but unsure how that would work with our control technique tests each year and the emissions!

Not to be negative, but its got the same engine on the Jag xf, doing this will crack your manifolds if it has not already done so, what's the bhp and torque in nm with this tunning box?

How is it a few months later? Do you still recommend it? Also, have you considered fitting a blow of valve?
