In 1993 I bought a Crowded House CD, came home, put it on and out blasted this song and the rest of Sebastopol Rd. Took the mispressed CD back to the shop, asked them to play it, identify the artist and sell me that album instead............... thus my love of MC4 began.

Mustv'e been '94 sometime and i had the radio on one night with some rock show playing - heard a track in the background as i wasn't fully listening as i was busy doing other stuff but the style instantly caught my ears and i thought that's great MC4 have a new track out. Couldn't believe it when the host said at the end of the song .... that was such and such from a new band called Oasis!

Rip wiz.....brilliant singer...seen mc4 in my home town Chesterfield Derbyshire at the winding wheel 1989 or 90 i think...long time ago..but there was more stage diving at that gig n i was proud to be the 1st diver...lol..great memories of my late teen years....btw my fave track is January. .
Just ordered this on CD after hearing this masterpiece. Can’t find the rest of the album anywhere online in the states. Cannot wait to hear the whole record
