I can see the movie this album was meant to go with in my head. Dan Slater, an Ex cop who's just heard DEA little brother died while undercover in the Russian Mob. Now, he's got no badge, only a gun, and its time to clean the Russians off the streets. Its time to Shut them Down!
I like to think somewhere there's someone who works the graveyard shift driving a street cleaner around a city while listening to Street Cleaner albums. Maybe it will be me one day. Maybe it is me right now.
Amazing, as underground as this guy is you would think fans of synths would be eating this stuff up. It's soooo cult classic 80s soundtrack. If I were to make a dark buddy cop movie, with demons and stuff he'd be the guy I call.
After one listen I don't remember anything about this album nor were there any points which caught my attention. Unfortunately this album sounds very generic without any unique touch. I find this a bit strange because I listened to older Payback yesterday which, while nothing new under the sun, still felt like had much more interesting melodies going for it.
