Scaling into Winning Trades. Adding To A Winning Position - How To Do That? This is of course different to scaling into losers...OK.
Scaling into losers is when you buy more and more as the price moves against you.
Scaling into winners is when you add to your position when the market is moving in your direction.
The advantage of this is that you are in the biggest size in your winning trades.
This is not for all trades - personally i like to grade my trades...

Good video Mark. Like you said this is more for a swing trade. I only scalp and that would be far to much for me to think about and manage quickly when I'm only in a scalp for 1-10 minutes.
Tactically I haven't found a way to make scaling in to a day trade to make it make sense. Because essentially you've gotta catch the bottom or top of the range depending the ATR of the market you trade, for there to be room to essentially add (treating it as a second trade). Secondly It just feels like if I have a second setup it's just easier to take a second trade. Adding to positions make more sense to me in swing trades.
Good video. Im in forex my strategy is i enter the trade at a major point and i want 1 or 2 resistances over my break even. At that point i drag my stop loss to 0 and every new pullback i add a position until a new position would be under a 1:1 R and every SL is 0'ed after a new support or resistance depending on my position. I usually have 2-4 positions in 1 trade but only if im in a strong developing trend. I wouldnt do this if price moves very fast that will most likely ruin it. With this strategy i start my trades with a 1:1 RR and end up 4:1+

Would you hold a anticipation position then add on confirmation?
it all depends on the setup. I will add my biggest lot on anticipation because the risk is so low. As the trade works I will add incremental (smaller) pieces to the winner, to get more size on the trade.
