Security poorly informed but not overly impolite except for calling a member of the public an idiot for which he should receive a written warning for bringing the company into disrepute. Security were polite during your exit however and hadn't called the police so a small redemption arc for their company. You shouldn't tolerate being called an idiot in future as it was an ad hominem attack and nothing more than cheap abuse. I'll subscribe and see how you get on but you will need to be a tad more assertive going forward. Good luck - it's like playing whack-a-mole out there.
