UST's floor defense was impressive, it's like they all were liberos. Give the Best Libero award to Pepito, she almost killed herself just to keep the ball up. This is the kind of game where even if your blockers are tall, if you have good reception, you can still make attacks. As always, Jurado was a revelation, without a doubt, Jurado is the future of UST. Eya Laure's moves are really for the pros, even if she doesn't get an award this season, it's okay. DLSU lacked digs and attacks in this game, and Alba couldn't set up the plays properly.
DLSU's blocking was crucial especially during the 2nd set pero dahil sa floor defense ng UST during the 3rd and 4th, they were able to beat DLSU. Hindi ako magsasawang sabihin, si Eya ang scorer pero kudos to Amiga and Detdet for their solid performances. Indeed, a team effort. Congrats, UST!

"No Sweep" gave me goosebumps when I saw Eya mutter those words. Indeed, we will have a final four!!! What a game for her and the tigresses! TBH, i was not expecting them to get a set and much more a win with the way they were playing and the way DLSU is also playing. But boy was I wrong!!! Eya was relentless on her attacks and if I have one word to describe her game tonight, it will be FEARLESS! Queen made sure she got the W tonight! Soooo happy with Amiga's performance this game 😢!!! So glad she stepped up and man her kills were on point! Also, her defense was impeccable at the back!! Hope she builds on this great performance and continue to be UST's rock for the season. Imee and Janna both did a good job in terms of blocking. Even if they did not scored kill blocks, it was still enough for UST to design a counter attack and eventually win the point. Carvallo did an excellent job setting her wing spikers. It's like the sets are now to the liking of the spikers more which is evident in the number of attacks UST had in this game. What a rookie setter and glad UST has already found their main setter ❤❤❤. Keep on improving and blessing the crowd with your beauty 😊 Chief Justice stepped it up when it mattered the most!!! So happy to see her performance during the 3rd and 4th set as she was able to adjust to DLSU's blocking and eventually gained more confidence in her attacks!!! This UST team reminds me a lot of the UST team back in season 72. They are peaking at the right time. And Eya Laure really reminds me alot of Aiza Maizo as well.
This was a good game for UST. But what I do not like is that some people( Kahit sinong team na fans) are actually wishing na ma injured mga players. Hindi ba nila alam gaano ka hirap lagpasan ang isang injury physical at mental struggle talaga.

Aside from explosive attacks from Eya with the help of her fellow teammates, the one that caught my attention so far in UST is their Libero idk if she's rookie but her overall performance so far is impeccable 💛
UST fought like a tiger more fiercer when they faced the NU in round 1. Laure transforms into beast mode as she attacks in all areas. She manages to break the wall of the blockers.

I cant think of another volleyball player who is all rounded player other than Eya. Setting, digging, receiving, serving and blocking. Especially in her generation, naiisip ko galing Uste rin Tabaquero and Sisi. And also Maizo. Maizo started as setter during her rookie year. Kapalitan nya si Denise Tan. Si Rondina khit maliit nkkablock. Tabaquero was good in digging, recieving and blocking.
DAMN! This season is the best so far. The top 4 teams can beat each other. I bet we will have an exciting FINAL 4. May the teams who want it more win. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Wow what a game for the Golden Tigresses!!! Unexpected performance specially coming from a loss against ADU and given DLSU's current form. This game is a great testament to the saying that "bilog ang bola". UST seems to favor playing with teams having undefeated runs 😂 Lets start with DLSU. I think Coach Ramil already had an inkling during their last game vs FEU that the girls intensity and hunger to win has gone down a bit from the first round that's why FEU almost snatched a set from them. It felt like DLSU was a bit complacent and at times over confident in the game and this was what coach RDJ was probably trying to correct since he knows that their next opponent was the only team that stretched them to 5 sets in the first round. In this game, DLSU's first ball was not there. Apart from their blocking, they heavily relied on their service reception to orchestrate their plays in the past o games that they won. Jazareno played decent but not her usual digging self. Also, UST made sure to target the other players in their services limiting Jazareno's touches and proved to be a great strategy for UST. Gagate and Sharma had their fair share of good plays in the first and most especially in the 2nd set. However, their blocking was neutralized by UST's digging prowess that's why they were limited to only 6 blocks and all scored in the 2nd set. Soreno had her moments but her lack of blocking reach was exposed in this game which is what Leila provided for DLSU in the first round. Alba also had a hard time setting the ball since the reception was not that steady and her blocking was also missing in this game. Jolina was silenced in this game. Even her usual digging and attacks were lackluster. What a worst time to have a bad game. Hence, DLSU missed her contributions and made it more difficult for them to catch up. Finally, the Super Rookie in Angel Canino was also limited by UST's defense and services. Clearly, she was targeted in the service area at the onset of the game. She had a hard time receiving the loaded services coming her way and I also noticed that she was not in her usual intense game face. What a day for her to have an off day as both DLSU's wing spikers struggled to provide offense for DLSU. All in all, it was an underwhelming performance by DLSU but then again, I don't totally believe in players having an off game. I think a big factor is also the opponent. They make you play bad because they are playing better. Luckily, we are still in the eliminations and they have more time to correct and adjust their game. Best of Luck Lady Spikers but this night belongs to the Golden Tigresses!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Yan ang sinasabi ko na Jolina is never an MVP material. Walang consistency. Canino is forgivable, rookie. But she's a great player. Kulang pa maturity, but the potential is immense. Eya is on another level already.
For me pinakacrucial talaga dyan kung makabalik si Malaluan. Siya talaga yung missing piece dito. Kapag off si angel at jolina as in walang ganap talaga unlike kay malaluan sobrang ganda ng placing ng bola dahil sa nipis ng mga palo nya. Si canino kasi more on power talaga kaya pag napuputo parang nahihirapan na sya mag produce ng points , si malaluan naman more on IQ hit talaga.

Lalakas ang choco mucho pag nag indoor ang Sipons, overall then yung dalawa sa dig ang grabe pero lethal ang spike. Si Canino grabe may future yung bata ang lakas, at imagine rookie pa.

"No Sweep" gave me goosebumps when I saw Eya mutter those words. Indeed, we will have a final four!!! What a game for her and the tigresses! TBH, i was not expecting them to get a set and much more a win with the way they were playing and the way DLSU is also playing. But boy was I wrong!!! Eya was relentless on her attacks and if I have one word to describe her game tonight, it will be FEARLESS! Queen made sure she got the W tonight! Soooo happy with Amiga's performance this game 😢!!! So glad she stepped up and man her kills were on point! Also, her defense was impeccable at the back!! Hope she builds on this great performance and continue to be UST's rock for the season. Imee and Janna both did a good job in terms of blocking. Even if they did not scored kill blocks, it was still enough for UST to design a counter attack and eventually win the point. Carvallo did an excellent job setting her wing spikers. It's like the sets are now to the liking of the spikers more which is evident in the number of attacks UST had in this game. What a rookie setter and glad UST has already found their main setter ❤❤❤. Keep on improving and blessing the crowd with your beauty 😊 Chief Justice stepped it up when it mattered the most!!! So happy to see her performance during the 3rd and 4th set as she was able to adjust to DLSU's blocking and eventually gained more confidence in her attacks!!! Hope she carries this momentum in succeeding games and steadily provide a much needed support for Eya and Amiga in the scoring department!! Keep on flying CJ Jurado!!! Last but not the least is my most improved player in Pepito!!! Finally, showing us why she was the 4 time girls volleyball best libero by providing those great first balls and outstanding digs!!! This UST team reminds me a lot of the UST team back in season 72. They are peaking at the right time. And Eya Laure really reminds me alot of Aiza Maizo as well.

I cant think of another volleyball player who is all rounded player other than Eya. Setting, digging, receiving, serving and blocking. Especially in her generation, naiisip ko galing Uste rin Tabaquero and Sisi. And also Maizo. Maizo started as setter during her rookie year. Kapalitan nya si Denise Tan. Si Rondina khit maliit nkkablock. Tabaquero was good in digging, recieving and blocking.

The setting of UST was very impressive as well at their floor defence .
Wow what a game for the Golden Tigresses!!! Unexpected performance specially coming from a loss against ADU and given DLSU's current form. This game is a great testament to the saying that "bilog ang bola". UST seems to favor playing with teams having undefeated runs 😂 Lets start with DLSU.
I think Coach Ramil already had an inkling during their last game vs FEU that the girls intensity and hunger to win has gone down a bit from the first round that's why FEU almost snatched a set from them. It felt like DLSU was a bit complacent and at times over confident in the game and this was what coach RDJ was probably trying to correct since he knows that their next opponent was the only team that stretched them to 5 sets in the first round. In this game, DLSU's first ball was not there. Apart from their blocking, they heavily relied on their service reception to orchestrate their plays in the past o games that they won. Jazareno played decent but not her usual digging self. Also, UST made sure to target the other players in their services limiting Jazareno's touches and proved to be a great strategy for UST. Gagate and Sharma had their fair share of good plays in the first and most especially in the 2nd set. However, their blocking was neutralized by UST's digging prowess that's why they were limited to only 6 blocks and all scored in the 2nd set. Soreno had her moments but her lack of blocking reach was exposed in this game which is what Leila provided for DLSU in the first round. Alba also had a hard time setting the ball since the reception was not that steady and her blocking was also missing in this game. Jolina was silenced in this game. Even her usual digging and attacks were lackluster. What a worst time to have a bad game. Hence, DLSU missed her contributions and made it more difficult for them to catch up. Finally, the Super Rookie in Angel Canino was also limited by UST's defense and services. Clearly, she was targeted in the service area at the onset of the game. She had a hard time receiving the loaded services coming her way and I also noticed that she was not in her usual intense game face. What a day for her to have an off day as both DLSU's wing spikers struggled to provide offense for DLSU. All in all, it was an underwhelming performance by DLSU but then again, I don't totally believe in players having an off game. I think a big factor is also the opponent. They make you play bad because they are playing better. Luckily, we are still in the eliminations and they have more time to correct and adjust their game. Best of Luck Lady Spikers but this night belongs to the Golden Tigresses!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Yan ang sinasabi ko na Jolina is never an MVP material. Walang consistency. Canino is forgivable, rookie. But she's a great player. Kulang pa maturity, but the potential is immense. Eya is on another level already.

For me pinakacrucial talaga dyan kung makabalik si Malaluan. Siya talaga yung missing piece dito. Kapag off si angel at jolina as in walang ganap talaga unlike kay malaluan sobrang ganda ng placing ng bola dahil sa nipis ng mga palo nya. Si canino kasi more on power talaga kaya pag napuputo parang nahihirapan na sya mag produce ng points , si malaluan naman more on IQ hit talaga.
