One of the key strength of this French team was to be able to change Brizard for Toniutti. To of the very best world setter with a totally different style. Imagine how disheartening it is for oponent teams.
@Chänëlly4L Yes, it is. With a better sub from the service line (it was useful sometimes). And the home crowd. France was really strong, especially mentaly. But i'm pretty sure Italians weren't hundred percent focus on the competition (they went to see other sports...) and the coaching in this game is quite terrible.
I forgot who Lavia was bad on this game. I remembered for Michieletto and Gianneli, but this is terrible. Poor job from the service line on the first set from the Italian, but France played way better in the final IMO. From this game, there is just a little doubt in the second set, where France had to be strong mentaly (and a good entrance from Tonuittu, really), but for the rest of the game, nothing to say.
France is so good but I can’t help but to want them to lose every match I watch them play. I don’t like that cocky attitude they all have. Le Goff and the libero(definitely can’t spell that name) I love but the rest think they’re the coolest people on earth lmao it bothers me
😂😂😂. I think in addition to Le Goff and Grebennikov, Benjamin Toniutti looks to be a chill guy, too. The rest of them are so cocky it's annoying. What's more annoying is that other than N'gapeth and Grebennikov the other players don't really look that special individually compared to their counterparts from other top volleyball countries (in my opinion at least), yet the team as a whole is so well-gelled that you just know no matter how much you wish they could lose a game, there's always a high chance that that won't happen. I find that frustrating about France.
they are quite a cocky team, but they were in front of their home crowd so i think that gave them the incentive to be a bit cockier than normal lol and they are also the best team in the world at the moment so i guess the cockiness is justified to a degree
@@bwiredoesstuff5876I mean Clevenot and the middle (number 1) are both among the top 3 at their position brizzard is prolly top 1 today and Patry among top 6/7 opposite so I would say they are pretty good
@Jgrz4 while I find their cockiness annoying, I also acknowledge that they've been the best team of the last decade: in that span they've been multiple World League winners, VNL winners, European champs 2015, and back-to-back Olympic champions. They're the most resilient and most consistent team of these years, so I give them that.
@jaimeoverwatch5035 I don't know about the statistics, but I agree about Patry - he's a scoring machine. The position of the other two I find a bit more debatable.
nice video, please also the japan vs italy match

Italy's younger players (except Romano) absolutely choked here. Thank you for uploading the full match. :)
Yeah the pressure got to them + im pretty sure this is the same france roster that won the 2020 olympics right?
@Chänëlly4L yeaa the same 7 too

Good game from both sides. But can you really blame Italy for mistakes when each point France get the whole stadium shakes 😂😂 love the support

Crazy how this is the same italian team (except anzani) that beat this same France roster in the 2022 wc as well as the 2023 cev
