Oh, that's a bummer to know! Checked in with ASUS ROG here in the Philippines, apparently the bag, mouse and portable charger are included in every purchase. Please check with your local retailer first before purchasing! Thanks for the heads up!
@FuckNLMB very big difference especially in FPS, but yes since it a 4080 it does get hot. But I haven’t found any downside with the computer. It’s well worth it
Hi kevin Thanks for the video with full detail information I have question for you: Also there are two models in my country. One with original windows and another without official windows. is there any way to find out that laptop comes with official windows before unboxing? and does Microsoft product key of windows labeled on the box of laptop with official windows? I will be so glad if you answer me 💐
Bro, I am having Asus Rog Strix G16 of i9-13980HX with 4080 RTX, While Playing games CPU went to 95C and GPU to 87C during performance and turbo mode but after Disabling the Turbo Boost, Now CPU temperature dropped to 15C now I am getting like 75-80C but I am still getting GPU to be 85-87C with 100% GPU usage and ROG boost OC, but when i change the mode to Silent GPU drops to 65-72C. Please help me with, I should get GPU around 65-80C during performance mode but HOW ?
the problem is, asus rog and acer ditch developing countries like dogs, instead of giving us the strix g16 and g18 both with nebulla display qhd 240hz 3ms 500 nits, they give us the standard ips display screen with fhd 165hz 7ms 300 nits. and then the acer instead of giving us the qhd 240hz they sent us the 165hz instead and no 18inch version, they just give us the 16inch version. which is why im beginning to think to buy lenovo legion, but i heard the ccp forced the company to give them customers data from all around the world so im kinda worried about users or consumers safety and privacy. but their gaming laptops are really good for thr price and for what they gave u compared to other competitions.
The laptop's aesthetics look really good. However, at its price point, there are a lot of other options that surpasses this one. Also, it was reported that the screen of this laptop bleeds.
Ouch....120k php. I was able to get that model all in for 77k php. In the states. I don't know why electronics are so expensive in the Philippines? I asked my wife why it's like that and she dosnt know. Probably because it's imported??
That's a very good question! Import tax and/or tariffs in the Philippines are exorbitantly high, due to a lot of factors. We have very few major ports for large-quantity and large-bandwidth items to pass through, so customs fees will always be high. To add to that, pre-and-post sale oversight (like required NTC approvals for any electronic product, and the government requiring all non-consumable consumer products have a standard warranty period) all adds up in cost, and is in turn, passed on to the Filipino customer. This is a gross oversimplification of the process, but I think it captures why electronics here cost so high. There are also much more wide-reaching factors like the high demand for electronics allowing brands to sell at higher prices to maximize profit margins, and being a third-world country with rampant corruption in every stage of the process that involves any kind of government participation. Hope this answers your question!
Rog 2023 models suffer on massive coil whine issue, the screen is FHD and Asus already told its not a quality issue. Given the scandal Asus have this month expect problems. So if you want quality go for Legion.
@@zeflixy9814 yeah its kinda bummer i also been rooting for strix g16 but the screen is too dim and also fhd. I can get a better screen and resolution with either legion pro 5 or helios 16 with the same price
Hello! I did a teardown of the ROG Strix G16 in my full review here: ruclips.net/video/WonJyiMEvLg/видео.html It has 2 M.2 SSD slots available, so you can easily expand or replace the built-in 1TB storage. :D
Hindi ko po siya binili, pinahiram po siya ni ASUS ROG for review. If you want to buy one for yourself, you can check the link in the description, or buy it from the closest ROG Concept store near you. Hope this helps!
My full review of this is coming out this week, and I dive into a lot of the things I initially liked but came to be wary of during my review process. Spoiler, it's not a full recommendation from me.
I dont freakin get it. The uk and us reviewers get only one brick and you showed two bricks. No mouse no bag. Asus is just all over the place with confusions this year. They even have a pic of the same laptop in their spec sheet that has rgb on the lid but its no where to be found in reality. I mean seriously asus has gone freakin flaps on every thing this year. Even their tuf laptops have ni sense at all. And their tuf with intel processors is not out yet. Who even would want to buy a shitti advantage edition?
Dude, I totally agree. My review of this laptop comes out this week, and I touch on that subject. It looks like there were last-minute changes to a lot of ASUS' products this year, and there's a huge miscommunication between the production side and the marketing side. Hopefully they get that fixed soon.
Hello brother .. Nice review ! I have a question… I’m between rog strix zephyrus g16 ( i9 13gen / 16gb ram / rtx 4060 8gb ) with QHD display at 2600 euros … and … ROG Scar g16 ( i7 13gen / 16 gb ram / rtx 4070 8gb ) with Full hd ips panel 165hz , at 2150 euros … Which one you pick ??
I own the 4070 1200 fhd+ model. Tbh. The screen is quiet good with 7ms. Compare to my brother 1600p nebula display, the ghosting on the screen not a big deal for me. And i can get more fps on 1200p with 4070 👍🏻
I want to know if this laptop has coil whining issue
You don’t get the bag, mouse and extra portable charger included in other countries (or at least USA, Canada, UK, France …etc) 3:58

How come it doesnt come with the smaller power brick in store???
I just already purchased it. I will receive it this Thursday
Goodluck, hope you like it!
Got mine g16 with a rtx 4080 model so happy with it

Getting mine in 6 to 7 days hopefully can’t wait 😝
Does the price could change? Because i am deciding to but it now or wait until blackfriday to save a llitle bit more
Hi, Kevin. Is the backpack and the mouse come together when you bought laptop from Asus website?
It's funny when you talked about that gaming mouse... I agree that mouse lacks more functionality buttons than left and right click...
Is it good too for school work? Like word, excel auto cad…etc?
It is too good. If you are looking for cheap one go lower.
Very ultra good are the words you're looking for.
Pls tell if you had any issues with this ,like I got to know that strix scar 16 suffers from coil whine
You can check my channel for my full review of this. TL;DR: it's got some minor coil whine.
do you recommend this over the legion slim 7i?

Is there a g16 model with rtx 4080?
The laptop's aesthetics look really good. However, at its price point, there are a lot of other options that surpasses this one. Also, it was reported that the screen of this laptop bleeds.
