Nice to know that we also have excellent Flemish ski-teachers. Flexing the inner leg did it for me. Not by lifting up the inner foot, but by lifting the inner knee so body balance (forward-backward) stays neutral. Very clear explanation Thx...
This was so clear. I've seen a lot of carving videos lately and your's is the clearest - you made it easy. You really understand it. I particularly liked your apex to apex point.
That was really good. Great technical information without any nonsense. Keep posting.
Very clear explanation ! Thanks for that 👌👍
New tutorial on pure carved short turns now online! 😎📹 Watch now: ruclips.net/video/JE4f9F5x8-Q/видео.html
Hi Niels, dankuwell for the nice video.
I was at The Hemmel Hempstead Fridge today for a bit of practice.
Of course I do not understand you're very fast Dutch and I fine it hard to keep up with the English subtiitles.
But I "get it" what you are saying about bouncing off one apex to the other.
I'll watch it some more. Tony
Simple and clear!!! very good instructions... if you could pls add some comments on hands..... and also how we keep the body in front..many skiers also me often we "" sit back"" and on steeper terrain we dont charge the front part of ski. Thank you!
Exceptionally good video!
Please do more videos on how to ski moguls/bumps, and also skiiing steeps, short turns and on ice. Next time you go to the mountains. Thanks for this one.
Fantastic video 👋, I signed up immediately !
Give me English subtitles for this please!
Wow, fantastic skiing. Just wondering, how did you get sponsored as a ski instructor and what position did you end up in when you participated in the Japanese technical skiing championship?
English - need to watch a few times because you can’t red the sub titles and still focus effectively on the visual. Very good presentation other than language challenge
I'll have to see the indoor slopes race skis v store skis
best explanation and demonstration of competitive carving ever... so well filmed.. thanks so much.. now is clear to me that the transition of force and momentum between the legs and skis is crucial, it is more like a dance.. its more mental and artistic than physical.. a lot of snow comes out from the interior ski... bravo.. i suspect it.. i come from old wedeln freestyle skiing, bumps.. now i do competitive master slalom, my coach says 80... 90 percent force should always be in exterior.. i think is wrong, its more 50 interior 50 exterior i see in your demo... or even at times 80 in the interior ski... but never more than 50, 60 percent of force in exterior or increments risk of falling if ice appears suddenly.. dont you think?
maybe in real snow... with good contitions in a ski resort... more force, grip and pressure can be put in the exterior leg and ski edge.. 20..40..60.. even 80 at moments... i think... as an excercise....but for competition it should be better and safer close to 50, 50.. whats your opinion?
Wasn't in english 😟
@@davidhawkins9782 has english subtitles
Really good explanation! If you would speak English this Vid would go to the top! Thanks a lot!
