This year, I am taking Lufthansa from Philadelphia to Krakow, with a 5 hour layover in Frankfort. I've flown many times on Air France (when they still served PHL) and American Airlines, but this will be my first flight on Lufthansa. The A340 is definitely my favorite plane in the skies!!!!!
Great video ! You can really tell how fast these planes fly at 15:50 in video, the way it's passing through the clouds. There are other places in the video you can tell also, but this is the first place in the video where it really stood out for me. Thanks for such a great video ! I have not been to Frankfurt airport before; why do you have to take a bus to the main terminal? Is it due to landing on the north runway or just overcrowding? Regardless of that, your video was well done and it was neat to see that "race" at the end between your 340 and that 380 to your left!
the city the plane is named after is GÖRLITZ, a small city in east saxony, before ww2 in lower Silesia. Still the main part is German but the eastern part is occupied by the Polish.
Look here in the video at [9:30] the many aircrafts waiting for their take- off. Seems that this Philiadelphia airport is one of thge biggest airports in the United States.

Aw man. There was a BA 777-200 parked next to this plane. Then as it's pushed out of gate and stops there are US Airways parked across the tarmac. All gone now. Very sad....

Probably because his device didn't emit frequencies, which would be noticed, so it would have to be something simple like a handicam
