"I'm in so much trouble." Yes, you're gonna be in the dig house for that one! Chuckle. It's an awesome looking top bar observation hive though! Love it.
I love this channel so much. Lost my dad years ago, and watching this gives me real dad-vibes. I adore your relationship with your dad. You are so lucky, both of you. I also love bees! Please never stop make this!
@@TheBushBeeMan I re-watch your videos. I started out wanting to know why vegans were upset about honey. And now I want hives of my own. You sparked a fire I had no idea was there. Everybody else so serious or dry. But you crack jokes, you re-engineer something instead of getting mad at a mistake. You are the best Mentor I have found so far, and that's why I re watch your videos. if only I had an income, I would be a patron. I prayed when your son had surgery, I felt nostalgic when you interviewed your dad. My family is a lot messed up. you make me feel like I'm part of the family when I'm watching. That's priceless. And I love how you reuse items as many times as you can. You are a balm to the soul. All with a bunch of giggles. So thank you. So much more than fridge hives and honey paw. Sorry if that was too much. I have to admit I need to catch up on the streams. But as long as you make a video, I will be here to watch it. Someday when I get an income after leaving my abusive ex-husband last October, I'm going to buy your honey. And someday later than that I'm going to have my own hives. Thank you Bush Bee Man. Like I said you're amazing, and I hope you have a great day, Marc. digital hugs blessings and love to the whole family. Stay healthy
Hey BBM and john wow that was something else , i used to click on the live stream and just have a watch of the bees coming and going ,its amazing that even without a frame the bees just did their thing , had a call from a mate in thailand that has a colony in a disused toilet on his farm ,he contacted a local bee keeper who gave him a box and now he is a bee keeper after he relocated them so they can polinate his cocoa trees and durian and whatever else he has growing there ,bees are amazing creatures.
Nice work !!! Though very interesting WHY they reoriented the comb ... 90° against the frames ??? Could it be due to some internal Compass 🧭 or meteorological conditions... Temperature 🌡️ etc ???
Don't know why I thought of this, but he would make an awesome santa claus or some sort of magical honey fairy. Just imagine; a drunk aussie causing a ruckus (not so) carefully leaving presents or a jar of honey on your table, then with a wink and a nod he disapears, leaving your floor all sticky from honey and wax chunks.
Been a fan since the beginning and a Patreon supporter for over a year. I've never enjoyed so much good honey in my life. I use it in my cooking, my cocktails, and has become a staple in my house for breakfast, honey on toast. Can't wait for my next shipment, which is in the post, and my pin and sticker, which is also on the way. You guys work hard and I'm 100% for supporting hard working people. Cheers!
I wonder if rather than an oscillator for hive frames, why don't you try a tofu/cheese press on it's side to squeeze all the honey out of the comb to drip down? Has anyone ever tried that? I feel like it'd be more efficient and cleaner
What a mess, you need to invest in a big tub for that sort of fun and games! Your wife/Mother must be a very patient woman , I can not believe you two are still walking and talking with normal deep voices. You should make a video of the time the wife really did get up set in the past (but has now forgiven you) and do a re-enactment. That would probably have us all in tears
Can you do 1 video a month on what to do this month. I just want to know what I should be doing in Australia this month. I live in South East Queensland. So climate a bit different but should be able to work bees at a similar time to you.
You can drink what you like Uncle Jingles, except Fosters! If you do, don’t blame us Aussies! It isn’t our fault! Very, very few of us drink the stuff. Blame the Canadians! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Mate, your top bars are not wide enough :-) 38cm is great and also tie on some of that new comb onto the top bar guides to help the girls know they are to build in the correct direction. Only Kenyan top bar hives have sloped sides. You can have straight deep sides but get the guide right at the top and wide enough and the girls will be most obedient. BTW, because the bars have no sides and wire like frames, the girls are smart enough to know they have to brace it at each side to hold the weight. Arn't they smart :-).

Good energy mate, positivity in every moment of the day goes a long way. Cheers!
Thank you :)

Very nice fishy business
Things would probably be a lot better if the hive was managed more often.
