    I started looking around on here, intending to get a scooter for a short commute. Then I changed my mind. Next I considered a road/trials bike. Now I know that I need one of these;;)

    01:35 The fuel consumption in a commuter schedule is about 2.5 L per 100 kms, a full tank will get you up to 400-500 km.
    01:44 The speedometer is not analog, it's a motorized digital one. If you press a button on the back, it cycles between total and trip odometers.
    02:22 The rear suspension is not adjustible, it's just spring-loaded with fake adjusting knob and fake barrel. It's not bronze, of course, just anodized aluminum.
    05:08 front-breaker or not, keep in mind there's no ABS on this bike.

    • @BikeMatters
      @BikeMatters  4 года назад +2

      Most 125s tbh are great first bikes, as that is what they are designed for. I would make sure you are happy with the seating position and having legs in a more forward position with foot plates etc as that isn't for everyone.
      Overall, typical naked 125cc motorcycles are the most popular for learning on with an instructor etc. But if the riding position suits you and you are confident on a 125 following CBT and any potential additional training then a custom style 125cc like a Hoodlum shouldn't be an issue - plus they look great.

      @BikeMatters  4 года назад +1

      @@Gruntboxwizard Chinese bikes have come a long way in the last few years. Certain manufacturers are still better than others, however general Chinese production has got significantly better.
      If you are interested in a particular model, regardless of where it is made I'd always recommend looking up owners reviews and thoughts from people who've owned the bike for a while to get a good view of quality over a prolonged time, while also checking out normal reviews and seeing the bikes in person.

    I appreciate the reason for spoked wheels on off-road bikes (flex), but why do Sinnis put them on road bikes? Tubed tyres are extremely dangerous as they deflate almost instantly and throw the bike into a terrifying wobble... (Believe you me, if you’ve experienced it once, you won’t put yourself in that position again.) I was thinking of buying a Sinnis Hoodlum, as I like the look of the bike, but have decided against it, because of the spoked wheels.

      Hey Ryan! As of yet we aren't sure when this exhaust is going to be available for purchase, maybe try contacting Toro directly to see if they can advise? It's a belter of an exhaust, sounds so much louder in person if you can believe it or not!

    great video, just found this channel watched a few videos you sir's have got a sub. Like the big looking bikes for a 125. I've had my eyes on a Hoodlum for ages can't decide between this and a Mutt Mongrel 125, anyone with any ideas on which is better would be welcome. 🙂🙂

      Hi Daniel, really appreciate your kind words and a big thank you for the sub! The hoodlum really is a lovely bike, especially for a 125! We have looked round the Mutt Mongrel on a few occasions too and they are fantastic bikes, we are yet to test one but will hopefully get the chance in the future!
