1980 Kawasaki kz 1000 LTD 45 YEARS AND SHE LOOKS LIKE THAT KEN YOU BLOW MY MIND that thing is nuts. It's got four pipes that go into the headers that thing's a monster engine. That is definitely a rocket ship wow! I love the color everything about it Ken, that seat looks so comfortable. Another mind-blowing absolutely mind-blowing original the stuff that's on there. That bike is a needle in a haystack I would keep the tires on it looks sick you blow my mind every time of all the work that you put in these bikes. It's absolutely wonderful. I've got to say it. Ken, but that is one wonderful machine. Great info. Ken Kaplan great video! Ronnie Rockville, Connecticut New England motorcycle museum number one what you didn't think I'd see that gas gas go to Rockville Connecticut go see Kenny Jr gas gas
Yeah, this is my dream bike right here! It gave me quite the impression as a kid when seeing it new at the dealership. I ended up later getting an 81 XS1100 Special as my first streetbike, however, the LTD put quite an impint on my mind at the time. The bike is stunning and just plain sexy to my eyes! Eric in NC
Got one in the UK, only took me 40 years, same colour, original paint and tyres, the '80 ltd is one of the coolest looking stock bikes to ever come off a production line, they look even better with shorter rear shocks and the flatter Z seat. The earlier bigger z1000A1/2/3/4 fuel tanks bolt straight on too
That's a sick bike right there, buddy of mine had one big 4 into one Kerker on it , you talk about loud ,another friend had a KZ 900 and dam that 900 was just as fast as the 1000, both awesome bikes
It is an LTD but it is not a classic. The Classic had fuel injection and the panel on the tank was chrome. That said it is still a great bike, even handles good.

I'm a huge fan of the KZ. I had an 81 kz1100. Had the shaftdrive. Bike would take me anywhere. Your living the dream Ken. Be safe.

Beautiful Mint Musclebike! I'd love to see and hear a full Kerker exhaust system, that sounds muffled and throaty on her. Great video. Thanks Brother.

Sweet Mother of Pearl.
I had one. I swear when pushing it I was going 60 by the time I hit 2nd gear. Seemed that way anyway.
I had a 1980 Z 1 1000 fuel injected version classic
Can you service the bike if needed? Even if I had to ship it to you for service? Love the bike! its Pretty!

I HAD A 1980 FUEL INJECTED Z-1,BLACK WITH CROME TANK😅
I would like to see you use an on board cam when you ride the bikes
Superbike bars and grab on grips were the first mods to these bikes. Kerker after that.
Man, I keep making a comment and it keeps getting deleted. What's going on with the algorithm? 🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅
