    I do love how realistic this series is, everything wasn’t thrown out to look aesthetic and it’s not all edited to make it look like it happened magically in one night.

    When you love a channel so much you let all the ads play. Haha. This is so great! I love how momma said how dad's side was "dark and broody" . Typical musician. :) I love how eclectic, warm, and organized the house is, you can tell how much work that was all done. Haha. Love their little girl, she is so precious.

    I already loved watching decluttering vids, and doing decluttering on my own belongings, but in all honestly you're the only one who made me really think about reorganising and storing like-with-like. I found that I had been putting toiletries/apparel/makeup/jewellery in random places around my room to then realise i had multiples of the same things because I had forgotten I had bought them already! I have since shuffled everything around and stored things in a more logical location, and grouped all the same things together. I actually have unused drawers now! Absolute game changer!

    Very pleasing outcome - it just looks welcoming and liveable and like it reflects the family who lives in the space. Also - those orange cupboard doors - amazing how they pick up the colour from the couch - like it was a design choice rather than an accident.

    Omg the final result of all of that is absolutely amazing 👏 and so inspiring that it is possible to free up space even in an already small space. Exactly like Hallie said, it's hard to believe that because you're living in a small space that there is any way to make more room, but it can be done! Tbh almost cried at how happy Hallie seemed at the end,, I was do happy for her. Can't wait to see future stuff and to work on my own small space and see what I can do.

    Such a functional improvement, switching the rooms seems to have been a great idea all around. Huge improvement. I would be willing to bet that the plants end up migrating to the window CD benches over time because that space is just perfect for easy access to water and tons of light, but maybe Hallie will stick with the idea of grouping them together to look less cluttered (although some people enjoy plant clutter! especially in a high rise home). Those windows are awesome with the CD storage benches underneath though. It looks great and you guys worked so well within the limitations of small Korean apartments. Buildings there could make a ton of money if they rented small basement storage units to residents! Just someplace to shove suitcases...

  • @rebeccamartin1858
    @rebeccamartin1858 3 года назад +2

    Those plants are definitely gonna end up back on the cd shelf because they won't get enough light on the bookshelf. Even with the room being bright, the plants won't be getting the direct light they are used to over there

    My husband and I have very different decor styles. His is... "what?" and mine is "all of it". Luckily, he just lets me run with it and I am able to incorporate a lot of feminine and masculine pieces together. I also have a lot of antique pieces, which helps with the eclectic feel of everything. There may be a lot of items, but thanks to your advice on, I have been able to put together looks that are not cluttered or crazy. It is a great aesthetic.

    I am surprised by the CD's and cassettes - didn't think people kept physical media like that anymore (but maybe it has something to do with ease of access in Korea?), and I just appreciate seeing an actual lived-in family home instead of a single-person designer's idea of a family home. This looks sustainable as opposed to unachievable.
