So beautiful out! If you don't get a bite all day, then you decide to reel up and that's when it happens! Classic! Don't know how I missed this video when it dropped 7 days ago! But watched it now. Great to see you guys out their and the baby is getting big! Don't blink before you know it she's going to be all grown up and moved out! I have 4 myself, 3 girls and 1 boy. 24, 21,16, and 13. My boy is the 16 year old. My youngest is 13 going on 30. but no more babies for me and the wife lol! cherish these times my friend! Yeah son, that's how it's done!!!!

Exactly the vibe I was going for lol. I’m thinking about getting an inflatable boat or kayak so everyone can fit on it. I did bring my float tube on this trip but didn’t end up using it.

@@ExploreNaturesCatch SARL is always sort of a last resort for me. I prefer to drive up to the mountains and if I get skunked, well at least I was in the mountains 🏔️ around beautiful scenery! Great video! We were fishing there around the same time you were, Oct. 17 - 21, same fall colors. Relaxing and slow fishing. You asked about places to stop and visit on the way up to the Eastern Sierra, so I suggest you and the family visit the "Ghost" mining town of Randsburg. Worth a visit and a lot of history there.

@@ExploreNaturesCatch We fished Lake Mary and Silver Lake. My son caught a 5.5 .lb. and a 4.5 lb. rainbow at Lake Mary, his PB. I caught a 6.5 lb. hook jawed brown trout at Siilver Lake, in that spot in the taspen trees and pines, where you guys fish. I located your spot through Google Earth, so thank you!
I was there the first weekend of October. Landed a 5.5lb Rainbow right around the area your at.

Yeah it’s pretty nice out there. People usually ice fish this lake during the opener. I have yet to do it but I do want to give it a shot next time.
