- Here we take a look at the update features wanted by the Planet Zoo community, I highlight a lot of major features that may be too game changing, but it would be fantastic if we could get all of this into the Planet Zoo we currently have, rather an unnecessary sequel. Enjoy!!!

I think the egg thing would actually be super awesome to have in planet zoo
Didn't the devs say eggs would he impossible with the current engine?
Have the devs said flying birds would be impossible with the game’s current engine? I know there are a lot of people in the community that want flying birds but I want it confirmed that the devs have said they won’t add birds of prey. I know for a fact a long time ago they said no cetaceans.

in actual zoos, the eggs are typically taken out of the exhibit to be cared for by the keepers and other staff. So we'd likely not get to see the eggs for long if planet zoo sticks to mirroring the actual practices of zoos.
I really want them to add animal encounters in the next update

Genuinely, one thing I really want which has been so overlooked is more barriers. Why dont we have barriers like wire fences, farm-like plank fences, cobblestone fences, glass with no dividers. But also stuff like walk through exhibits with the option of having no pathway etc etc. some things really confuse me that they have been so overlooked
Well that was pretty much what this one was supposed to be, but we certainly should get more barriers, and more barrier types is on the update wishlist over on the forums
would personally love cleaning stations for animals and other more in-depth staff behavior. it's a big part of irl zoos
cleaning stations like in elephant houses would be great to see, and potentially staff even assisting in moulting or just enriching the animals, like how many zoos will use rakes to scrape the flanks of rhinos and camels to relieve itches and remove loose skin and hair
I think camel remaster by narwhaler is way better than Gabboi's remaster, the camel looks more realistic.
Not only that, but it would also be great if planet zoo updated the sprinting animations and the laying down and sleeping animations, put sitting and trotting animations for each animal and maybe some new sounds for each animal especially those that you hear in movies like the Lion king.
Agreed. It's really unrealistic to have your bison starting a full gallop across the habitat, stops, turns 45 degrees, runs to the bedding straw and lay down calmly. The most they will do in a zoo is trotting, especially canids. The animation for the Red Fox is actually pretty accurate.
I'd love any zoo game to switch from caged areas for individual species typical of a zoo to huge pe-designed wildlife reserves. Instead of all these fancy creative tools for making the cages look nice at the cost of frame rates, the game has a much stronger focus on making the animals happy and healthy and able to coexist with each other.
5:39 While it's not 100% exactly perfect I did make this kind of bridge for bears in the tutorial when I was new. I just built a climbable bridge for my bears and used guest gates underneath it to prevent guests freaking out. With mods adding null guest gates, you can make it even better.
So there's definitely ways to accomplish this in game even if it takes a little more effort to make. That said, official null guest gates and more props to build these kind of bridges and tunnels (especially the mesh ones) would be awesome. Maybe also allow you to 'link' habitats together too to make them for the same animals across two habitats. Just adding a few extra features in to make this much more intuitive would go a long way.

I want them to add trotting to animals as well single a couple of animals already can trot
Yeah trotting would be cool to see in carnivores too, as they somewhat casually trot around the enclosures, and more of the ungulates should too
I actuality do not think the nesting feature would be useful on an Echidna as the females will lay the egg into their pouch and it will stay there for up to 10 days tell the eggs hatches , after that she will keep the Puggle in her pouch for around three months then she leaves the puggle in a burrow she made.
Ok, I think I actually do remember hearing that before, so my apologies, echidnas would probably better function that way

Loving a lot of the ideas for updates you list. New stuff for ambassador animals and croc shows , new tour vehicles , nesting and births , new animal looks , animal encounters and feedings , special cage aviaries and walkthrough exhibits , guests staying and viewing animals , different exhibits for small animals like snakes and such , underwater view tunnels , new climbing abilities are all my favs from this video
The plant penis, thememaker toolkit , zookeeper mode , animal rescues , new animal behaviors and multi species exhibits , are definitely in my list from the stuff that wasn’t show within the end of your video ^^
I truly hope your theories come true and we get all the stuff from This video in the game ^^

Well I will have to think about what else i'll be doing for Planet Zoo and the other games I cover in the dead space. My surgical wound is almost healed up. But I may try another zoo build

Oh I apologise, I didn't even notice that was the case, thankfully what I said was just talking about how underwater viewing is quite difficult to do justice in game
