I'm most happy about the mute swan! People have been asking for more birds for years, but Planet Zoo keeps giving us those walkthrough decoration animals. We all just want birds free roaming their exhibits. I think Planet Zoo is finally listening because a swan and kiwi were added in the recent packs.
For me, Swans are more than ambient/decoration animals. Birds are my very favourite animals in the world. If I had a short Time the possibility to play this Game on the Laptop from a cohabitant, the Peafowls were my very favourite animals. And the swan give the possibility for Mods from other swans, Geese, Ducks, Pelicans and more. Unfortunately I can't have this Game... Maybe good. But can see what Deladysigner is doing great work and other players. But I feel very dark in this times (offtopic)...
Saiga's are so cool! I've seen em in the wild and they are spectacular. Also, I feel were blessed with swans. ambient animals are great and more birds is even better
I’m excited for swans. At the STL zoo we have a giant lake in the middle of the zoo that has a bunch of food and gift shops. You can eat lunch on the gazebo on the water and look out at the lake. A lot of times it has ducks and swans. Sometimes in the summer they also let the pelicans and flamingos out on the water. Swans are a great addition
I am so excited to finally have the Wisent. The inclusion of the Saiga is a surprising one... but one i am 100% standing behind due to the conservation status. Lets hope they can bounce back, just like the Wisent has done. Another Tortoise i am also happy about, as we desperatly needed another one.
I often look at new animals from a modding perspective and what new rigs they offer that people can use, seeing as mods can't use their own custom rigs and animations. So for this reason I'm pretty excited about the mute swan. I'm biased because I'm Australian so I'd have preferred the black swan out of all the swans to choose from, but a swan is a swan :P modders have had to largely rely on the crane/flamingo rigs for waterfowl like swans/geese/ducks and pelicans, but considering their long legs its obviously really not ideal. At the very least the swan should really open the door for other swans, geese and pelicans, but I could see it working for ducks too! Where I live we have incredibly diverse wetlands with more duck species than you can count on your hands so ducks are something that has always been sorely missing for me.
I'm so excited to see San Bernardino Zoo finished, and also all these new animals inside of it. I would also like to see maybe a tiger exhibit, which you could include maybe the swans or something in the water, as well as also add the wild boar to the okapi mixed habitat. I can't wait for the Savanah area and the whole zoo to be done. Love the content :)

I hope we get a mountain pack next with markhor, spectacled bear, gelada and some type of mountain pheasant. Then aqua pack, bird cage pack, and then just random missing animal packs, with Ratel, Secretary bird, Gerenuk, Leopard Seal, Shoebill, Tree Kangaroo, Muntjac, Musk Ox, Walrus, kudu, blackbuck, other pheasants, cranes, pelican, alligator snapping turtle and some other missing animals
It's great we at least got one bird, but I'd be excited for more, especially since flamingos don't actually need to be enclosed so it's not like flying away is the issue. Then of course, I'd like to see some fish, sea turtles and dolphins in the future, and two things I noticed we sorely miss are more deer, and small cats.
Ive got a cool concept for san bernadino zoo, if you could branch of a path between africa and Australia, on the Australia habitat you could have the rest of the oceania like flyin zoo and maybe a night house with kiwi and koakas, then further down the path you could have little pengions and the the other side you could have the african pengions, drawing inspiration from your amanzon river walk, then that path could reconnect with the rest on the africa area. As they would be small enclosures they wouldnt take long and you could make it a finishing off episode after africa is complete before moving on to Europe, just a thought
- The Mute Swan gives a bit of optimism for birds still, though time will tell - Sloth Bear and Takin are strong choices for Asia - Wisent is somewhat underwhelming IMO - the Blackbuck or the Lion tailed macaque would've been better choices and would strengthen the Indian representation
Soooo many Animals and such a creative Game and only the Wisent chance your mind? I wish I could have this Game, but have not the right PC for it. And I'm afriad its not good for me. Its not a real world. You can make a beautiful Paradise there, and still eat meat from terrible be killed animals while playing, if you understand what I mean. But want the Game so much, but its not good for me? Have hold women in Zoo too, in Fantasie while painting and in Zoo Tycoon 1. I#m a Zoo Tycoon 1 Designer but I#m barred on Zoo Tek Phoenix, caue I had hold naaked women in my zoo. The only sad thing is, that I now can not give my 150 beautiful Zoo Tycoon 1 Plants, Trees, Palms, Grasses and Flowers to another people. Have (sorry for offtopic) created 49 kind of birds for Zoo Tycoon 1. But 48 of them are before get barred. My favourite bovie is the aurochs. Or Ferdinand the Bull... Maybe I should better take care about or real (from me beloved) chickens and for the other cohabitants in or home (a Home for mentally ill persons).
I really like European bison that’s something I’ve been wanting to, but I always thought it was the other species of bison in America the wood bison I didn’t know it was European bison

Apparently there’s over 1.5 million Saiga in Kazakhstan alone. Am I in the right for thinking that’s way too much for an animal to be “critically endangered”? Something feels off
They've lost 1m+ in a single season multiple times recently due to climate change and they are almost impossible to keep alive in zoos, hence the concern
Many of these animals are pretty cool, but I'm not sure how the pack highlight is the Wisent, or why anyone seems to be excited for it. I'ts literally a nearly identical clone of the bison that's been in the game since launch. How is it special? Because it can have different foliage than the other bison? I'm lost, please someone explain to me.
Wisent and turtle are boring. Boar and Bear are ok. Would love a black or black-necked swan more, but this swan is fine. Wolverine and Takin were wishes of mine. Saiga is amazing, never thought we could get it after all these whiny realism lovers were mad at my proboscis monkey, and now there is still hope for leopard seals and shoebills

India already has quite a lot of representation in the game tho whereas much of Europe doesn’t

I love the proboscis monkey and I’ve seen them at Singapore Zoo so never an issue for me!
