Although I'm thrilled of their continued good health⚕️, loving partnership🫂, & great 🚙mobility🛩 traveling from France 🇫🇷 to UK 🇬🇧 to South Africa 🇿🇦.
      🤗At least we now have Stephanie's adorable cousin Amaury & his darling parents to fill some of that ❤️ loving family gap. Their presence helps ease our sorrow🥺 for missing Michael Potts, the elusive Nick, Marie, Antoine, & Scotman too.

    Stephanie, try a mixture of vinegar and baking soda on the marble table top. It could also be warm vinegar or room temperature.

    • @TheSchkings
      @TheSchkings Год назад +2

      Vinegar etches marble, so I would be leary of doing this. Better is to use hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.

      @@TheSchkings No. Vinegar and baking soda IS a method for cleaning stains off marble. Look it up. 😊❤️

      Yes, Samantha!! Exactly what I was thinking. There is absolutely no place to work on a flower arrangement...unless she has to sit on the floor!!

    Stephanie it is rare I disagree, however every paint pot should be checked that it remains usable and which room it pertains and marked on tin. Always less expensive to touch up e.g.luggage damage to a wall than require to repaint the entire room, no matter your financial situation. So only surplus to any maintenance requirement should be sent to charity and the rest disposed of responsibly. You won't regret the convenience of such a system.

    I feel you, Stephanie; I used to have a vintage coat addiction. I had over 50 coats tucked away in every spare space I could find. Unfortunately, menopause sized me out of most of the coats; along with dozens of vintage dresses, they went to a young woman who promised to cherish them all.

    Good timing Stephanie! I am moving my Studio within six weeks, and like you, there are so many boxed goodies in the storage area, that pull at one's heart strings as I purge, sort and declutter. Your discipline ( along with Philip's gentle, understanding smile), has allowed my charity pile ( for new refugee families) to grow enormous. Many thanks!

    Philip and Stephanie I do hope you see this comment of mine. A grand idea for the grandfather clock!! pun intended. I understand the clock no longer works as a clock and you want to transform into a mini bar. However, all is not lost. you can put a battery operated clock mechanism to the clock portion very in expensive and easily done. I have an old antique clock that I bought that used to be a wind up key mechanism and was upcycled with this type of battery mechanism. It still has it's antique charm and keeps perfect charm.

    What if instead of having the wardrobes opposite each other you put the small one to the right as you enter and leave the large one where it is? Then the coats would be more conveniently located, the weight would be more balanced and a bit less awkward. I know this is not formally decorated, but some of us are thrown off kilter when the surroundings are off balance ;-)
    I also agree that the plants should be arranged closer to the window. Am sure your plant lady will agree. All in all you've done a great job. Now who will come & help me???
