I’m from the future when this game is actually released, and it’s amazing. This mission is my favorite
such a fun and emotional mission. made me cry
I just started this mission and stopped playing the game. So far I've had a lot of fun even playing at 40fps with everything at the lowest possible. But now the game runs at 28 fps and is very uncomfortable to play. I'll have to wait to get a new graphics card to enjoy this properly.

I find it neat that the brute at the end refers to the human military by their actual name "UNSC" and the chief as "Spartan", not "Demon". It shows a level of respect for humanity that the Covenant never possessed, but the Banished do. They don't simply refer to them as "Humans" but by the name they call themselves as, and they treat chief as a worthy adversary, referring to him by the title Humanity gave him, rather than the one the Covenant gave him.
It is a really nice touch
There are actually a few humans in the Banished, although they're usually kept a secret. The big boss guy we see here (I forget his name) has a specific hatred for humanity, but even he has the respect to name Chief as a worthy adversary.

I mean, it is a canonical thing that Chief has unreasonably high luck. That's the reason we always find conveniently functioning warthogs from a crashed ship or the right gun for the job. Chief's just lucky like that
@@mushmonkey15 Warthogs in the Halo franchise are incredibly durable, in one Halo book, a group of Marines survived the fall of one of the Frigates when it was falling apart in low orbit when they hopped aboard a Warthog that fell overboard, and where the sole survivors. Basically, the Warthog is what Toyota trucks will evolve into, since it's so incredibly durable

I agree, It is definitely playable. But I think the most amount of work went into character model and item/weapon improvements. Every enemy, character and gun looks immensely better in the current version compared to this trailer.

Oh my God I'm glad they gave it an extra year. The new game play is like night and day compared to last year's reveal. At wasn't bad just needed polishing. December isn't getting here fast enough.
The Grunt at 5:06 always gets me. The high-pitched “SCREW YOU!” while holding 2 sticky grenades. Such a perfect Grunt moment. Glad they’re bringing back their comedic nonsense in Infinite.

I just deleted a comment I made last year where I said the game will probably be terrible. After playing the flight, feeling the game for myself and seeing the colossal improvements that have been made to it since this demo, I think I can say confidently that this will be a good game. Whether or not it is a good Halo game is yet to be seen, but if the flight gameplay is anything to go by, I think Halo Infinite has the potential to be one of the best in the series.
343 will prove once again that they don't have what it takes to make a good halo game.
I won't be fooled with my money again.

Day 277: the new unspoken thing was cool even though i didnt understand the backstory or lore
Basically try retconned two Spartans retrieving the covenant armor shields. Now, this marine and another marine retrieved it with one of them dying in the process. This eventually led to the breakthrough of armor shields, which has saved every Spartan’s lives
This marine has balls of steel for standing up to chief.
Its not his cheif he belong to a different tribe lol
Actually most marines and odst members despise Spartans. It's not uncommon.
More like he's gone nuts because... well... he's very human unlike John, who was kidnapped and retrained as a child.

@Thominus Rex True, but it's still not uncommon for them to hate him and try to downplay his accomplishments. Something like, "He wouldn't have made it so far if he didn't have us marines/odst with him." or, "We're too good to use all that fancy gear, unlike spartans that need to be pampered."
Even with prior accomplishments, chief still got shit on by other officers and soldiers. He just lets his actions do the talking.

I feel the same way I was talking to my friends since we all like halo a lot although me and two others are the only ones have played halo wars one and two i would like the banished to have a good introduction for the first time and not 343 rely on fans reading the new halo book or play halo wars two for an introduction I would like chief to meet the banished in the new book and not sure what faction they are and then in halo infinite find out who they are

Its not that hard. Its actually way easier to explain them than to explain any other faction besides UNSC. They are simply rebels that act as mercenaries and their organization got way too big, big enough to be considered threat to everyone, including cortana and the forerunner.
Just watch the halo wars 2 cutscenes on RUclips. It caught me up real quick.

I'm not sure if it was a thing in Halo 4 and 5, but the constant shit talking from the enemies is one of my favorite parts about these games.
The Grunts spoke a different language in Halo 4. From the gameplay I saw in Halo 5, 343 brought back English-speaking Covenant. So happy to hear Grunts trash-talking again. Gives me more reason to kick them back in.
Every time during every Halo game I laugh at the comments made by both enemies and friendlies

Honestly, I'm very grateful that 343 had the balls to show the game in its current state rather than do what some other developers do and create a fake scripted demo that resembles nothing like the actual gameplay. Hell, this trailer even forced Microsoft to push the game back a year in order to give the proper polish that it deserves. I just only hope that 343 truly takes advantage of this and give us a Halo game worthy of legends!

I know that is one of the biggest disappointments I have with them regarding Cyber Punk 2077. I expected them to be better than showing off a mostly faked gameplay segment like that is non representative of the final product.
On the other hand, you don't know if these demo was actually fake and scripted and the rest of the game is (or hopefully was) in an even worse state. They did seem really proud of this demo, releasing a blogpost talking about how 'good' the graphics were.
I will applaud their decision to delay, but the demo itself deserves no praise at all. Not only Halo should be treated with the respect it deserves as one of the flagships IPs of Xbox, but it also has had shit tons of money behind and 5 years of development at this point, this demo was kinda embarrasing, but, i do wish the game the best and hopefully Infinite will finally be the first 343 game that i like.

i just realized that there might be a day and night cycle. The lighting at the beginning looks drastically different from the end. If I'm right, I think the sun moved behind the ring by the end of the demo.

It’s because this was supposed to showcase the game and hype people up but in the actual campaign it was just an interaction in the middle of the game so it wasn’t really supposed to have all those scenes. The music was really nice tho
