@DayInParadise Thank you, matey. I'm really glad you liked it. 🤗 They're not a patch on some of your locations though. I'll enjoy watching your content soon. 👍
Absolutely amazing old Abbey well flown round it love the commentary aswell it's great to document all these old places from the air loved that 🙂👌👍🙌👏well done colin
@inbetween-days Thanks, guys. Flight was a little shorter than intended, but serves me right for not checking the mem card before I took off! 😆 Have a great Xmas. 🤗
@DroneBiker Thanks, Patrick. It was Henry VIII who did it in, unfortunately. The fate that befell many of the non-parish churches in England at that time. 😥
@Relentlessiam HaHa, I like my holidays, and am fortunate enough to have a generous bruv and sister-in-law who invites us to exciting places, gratis! 😆😉 Thanks for your support and kind comments; I've got loads more to edit and upload yet. 🤗
@mcbrowser Thanks Paul. Yes, I would of gone in to take ground shots, if I had arrived earlier, but was late afternoon, dark (I obviously lifted the light in post) and they were about to close. Next time. 🤗

@@Drone.vision Thanks, Jason. Short flight for me as I filled the mem card out 3 mins in ...... Doh! What you see is pretty much everything I took, cut up! 😅
@ argh I’ve only done that once before too Col haha ! So frustrating,it’s like when you forget to hit record and have to do the flight all over again 🤣 looks amazing though mate , stunning flight that, really enjoyed it 👍👏👏
Nice one Colin, the abbey is a good spot to capture the vast area around the Abbey, did you manage to get to Helmsley while you were in the area, nice narration as always 👍👍
@tashashaback Hi Tasha. The location was used by the Norman noblemen, and the Castle in Helmsley was built at the same time by Walter Espec. The latter was used in the English Civil War. The area was mainly used by the noblemen for hunting and other recreation, and the Abbey was an example of Walter's commitment to his faith and it is said he ended his days there as a Cistertian Monk.
Looks good, well captured and good narration. 👍🏻
Thanks, Mark, much appreciated, matey. 🤗

Did you visit the church and look at the photo of jesus 🤔
My flight was cut short just before it went dark; mostly because the drone's memory card reached its max capacity during the flight ..... Doh! 🤠🤭😝
what happened in that location
