I don't have a video of that. Short answer: I just followed some other videos on using the MorningStar editor software. I considered making a video showing the programming but have since gotten rid of the MorningStar controller.
@@turbofabio when I got rid of it it was just because I switched to an analog rig. At some point I got another Morningstar controller and have had 3 different models of theirs since. I wouldn’t say they are objectively the best, but they’re hard to beat.
It’s been a while since I’ve used this rig, but I’m pretty sure you could maybe do that in the same way the Fractal can go into effects mode where you toggle the different effects on and off. I’d assume you just have to find out which midi number each effect is assigned to.
If I remember right I used the "set toggle" function on the type of action I wanted when I pressed that switch, and then then for the toggle position I selected the "dis-engage toggle" options, and then checked the boxes for all of the presets that I wanted to stop toggling. Example, if I pressed the preset A footswitch, I selected presets B-L to be dis-engaged so that anything other than the preset I was actively using would stop blinking. On the Fractal end of things, I made a MIDI block that would send a message in presets 1-3 (the ones I used the Fractal to select) to select whatever bank I was working in. So if I was working in Bank C for example, every time I selected a scene with the Fractal it would tell the MorningStar to re-select Bank C, thus resetting that bank and stopping anything that was blinking. And I also set the "bank change delay time" on the Morningstar to be 0 so that all of this happened instantaneously.
Very cool.. nice demo 🤘🏼✌🏼
How did you program? Do you have a video doing that?

@@i_like_toytles what did you switch to, if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks, and great video!

If you build a preset and set 6 different effects, can you turn them on/off with the MC6 to work individually with each scene?

I'm having the blinking problem. How did you make the others stop blinking when you press one of the switches?

how do you make bank jump with no message?
when i jump bank, there is always bank name and bank number message. i want jump without them.
In the editor software: Controller Settings > General Configuration > Bank Change Delay Time (set to 0) > Save Settings (requires restart).
