Jerry is a hell of a writer...my interpretation...its about feeling isolated, lost and alone. trying to run away but being confronted and haunted by bad memories. having difficulties getting a clear sense of self.

Epic song defo one of my faves from the album. I get chills. I also get "Shame In You" vibe from it. You know the ending riff in the song in "Shame In You" that starts about 5 mins in to the song... I get the feeling in this song about 2:00 in to it. It maybe just me. I don't know. Damn I love the song "Shame in You" But "Shame In You" and "Nutshell" are the two songs I found so damn hard to listen too, not because its Layne voice and pain that rips so hard in those songs, I just choke. Damn I miss you Layne. But Thank You Jerry, Sean and Mike for keeping Alice alive. And Will gives a great flavour to the band, never Layne will be replaced.. Why would they want that, and why would people want someone to be the next Layne. And just happy and proud Jerry wanted too carry on and Layne would want him too.
