What bluffs does villain have in that 9h7h hand??
None
Trip 8s with the ace of hearts,or a flopped straight he thought was good. Feels like a good fold though
He's got the nuts... deez nuts
I can't find any either, weird line betting small on the river, felt like MAYBE he was trying to induce a light raise but when he shoves like you said a straight and trips should never be re shoving there, looks like a good disciplined fold to me. Very enjoyable vlog, you got a new subscriber!
Good fold just not sure if i could have folded it lol . Merry Christmas Friend!
A "Heat Check" is a basketball term that occurs when a player makes 2 good shots in a row. Then, the next time on offense, they have the freedom to take a deeper shot or less than optimal shot, to see if they are on fire. Which means the player was opening a wider range after winning a few pots. Good shove Ash 💯
Basketball sucks...
@@oxyman9604 how are people like you loved by anyone 😂
@@nikgeorge237 he's not lying though
This is a pretty spot on explanation of “heat check” or “heating up”
@@tcwhiting thanks bro. I love poker and basketball 🏀♠️💯
Just stumbled upon your vlog just now and I gotta say that for someone new at this, it was pretty well done. I actually met you and Jesse at a WPT once awhile back and you both were so nice. Keep up the good work!
I'm hooked...I've just watched all of these vlogs in a row and it's 4.30am in the UK 😀 Really enjoying them, definitely keep them coming!
Wow, thanks Michael! Will definitely keep making 🔥
Yes love these vlogs , I’m curious though what are all these poker content creators using to record these ? Are they glasses or what’s everybody using , and do they have to let everybody know they are recording etc.. ?
@@Remi-bt7tp I’m also curious about this as well
Your positive energy is so great! Poker can be soul-crushing at times so it’s nice to see you staying positive 😊
Fresh, insightful, meaningful content that has already helped my game. Absolutely love it. Hooked. Takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there like you do Ashley.
Every cash in a tourney is a good one. Congratulations! The AK loss to AJ was disappointing, but nothing you could do differently. Keep ‘em coming.
AAs lost to AJ three days ago
Love the tournament videos! Please keep them coming.
Phenomenal run; congrats on cashing. I really like your reasoning for playing each hand 👍
I like how you edit your videos! Keeps the viewer hooked.
This was great. You're actually talking about poker and thought process not ego. Just subbed. 👍
I like the way you play and think things out. We have similar playing styles. In the money is in the money, I never complain when I see the bubble boy stand up while I'm still seated.
Very much loving these MTT vlogs. Can't agree more. "O" is spectacular!
That’s the perfect description for O 👍
That was a lot of fun watching! I was sweating on a few of those later hands :D Keep up the great work
Great video Ashley!! I’m happy you cashed in that tournament
First watch of your channel. Earned a sub. Great hand recaps, and thought process to go with it. Good stuff.
First time viewer... You're producing great content here - keep it up! And what a heater! I thoroughly enjoyed living that vicariously through you!
gotta love run good like this.. great vlog Ashley nice to have some new content to watch 👍👍
Such a good video. Learned a lot! Thank you!
Really enjoy watching your blog....I love the game!
Heeeeelllll yeah Ash. That heater on day one is legend.....good stuff
Some of the best poker I have seen on RUclips
First video I've seen of you. Very good job. Instant subscription
Really like your positive attitude and dialogue! Keep it up
So close!! Good run. You’ll get there one of these days.
Loved your tournament play. Nice run!
@9:24 4d 3d. 5d is already on the river
First time catching your blog, thoroughly enjoyed it, so am a new subscriber. As a female rec player, it was refreshing to see that your entire blog was about POKER, YAY! Congrats making the $, looking forward to more vlogs.
That K6 of clubs is a good hand to raise when the late position players limp. It's even good to 3-bet when facing a button raise.
Love the tournament vlog!
Good video Editing. You're a good player. Love watching the content
Nice footage and editing. Congrats on making the money. Subscribed.
Enjoying your vlogs, just found your channel. I just got back from vegas for my 50th bday. I always wanted to play at a vegas Texas hold ‘em table. I joined the two small tables at the Delano and after two nights came home with $500. It was so exciting!!!!
epic comeback turned heater!
I like the way you played the KJ(d) hand.
Personally, I don't think that's a mandatory 3-bet (preflop) unless you had awful position.
But, you had the button, 50 bb's, and every step of the way were getting incredible pot-odds.
A cash is a cash! Stay focused and keep grinding! Merry Christmas
That’s sick . Well played sir . I’m subscribing to your Chanel also . Good job !!
Fantastic commentary and editing!
Solid tourney play! Thanks for the content
Dope vlog I definitely enjoyed watching
On the 97hh hand, he either had trips or a boat. His line was very weak, betting 5k with a boat twice is bad and he got rewarded for it. Crazy stuff.
Loving the vlogs!
GJ. That uptick you had was great. The next time hopefully it takes you to a win.
Nice run! Almost!
I'm always folding that AK near the bubble. That's just my style I know it's probably ultra nitty tho
I was going to ask about ICM there, maybe we are both too nitty.
Ashley - Thank You! I'm glad you "doubled your crumbs"! Another Outstanding Video!
Hehe thanks Steven 🤗🤗
Nice video and breakdowns. Like the fold with the flush - wpld
When you have 6's full of Kings, there is NO scary card that can come 9n the river 😁 Thanks for sharing, enjoying your vlogs! 😊
K if they had KQ but unlikely with the blocker obviously. Or a Q since they likely had one given their play
talking about some run good !! very nice !!
Quality content Ashley. 👍
Wow very clean video, nice content. Got a new fan today.
How do you only have 7k subs? Very strong content. Enjoying these very much. Thank you☺
Thanks Jason. Gotta start somewhere, right? 💛
Great job. Keep up the good work.
Hi Ashley just got done watching a couple of your videos and I just had to subscribe to your channel I myself am a poker enthusiast who loves the game of poker and I mainly play cash games love your videos keep grinding
Great video loved the opening scene I think you should have called his bluff with the flush tho other then that good luck at the tables and keep up the great content
Hi Ashley, brand new sub to your channel because well: you ENGAGED and entertained me!
Not a big fan of tourney poker myself, more of a cash game player, but your hand captures and commentary were excellent, kept me rivetted throughout, and found myself rooting hard for you.
I agree: your day is definitely coming. You have solid poker chops and your skills are evident. You know exactly what to do in every spot.
Happy New Year and here's hoping you bink a big 'un in '22.
Cheers from locked down B.C.
Placing is better than not your day is comming!! Was a GREAT day one run😊.
Great work!
New subscriber here!! Congrats on the cash! Good luck on your journey
I think I would have called with the flush mainly because your hand was very hidden. He could have been pushing with an over pair or AQ of clubs with a front door flush draw and hit the Q on the river.
totally would have called with that hand. I would have tanked for a bit, but ultimately would have been able to say I DIED with a flush vs. getting bled out and going all in with much weaker draws at the end.
Understand your point but why would BB risk all the chips 115K on the wet board when he put 14K in the pot and he's got 57BBs behind. He can easily have 85 of spades/diamonds pocket 44 55 . The one thing I dont agree is that he had overpair there. He was on the BB almost always 3 betting and if he decide to slowplay he is not showing on the river with AA after facing 4x raise ... only overpair he can have there is QQ which I think he is 3betting preflop . I dont think he is shoving the river with AQ either. But of course it depends on the type of player if he is maniak he could have J10 of clubs there 🙃 just my opinion
Prettiest Poker Vlog Intro!!
Great result. I would not have been able to get away from the flush.
It sucks when you have them on the rails and they hit.
Had this myself this week AK vs KQ they hit a queen
Nice new channel loving it 👍💪☺️
Go,Go,Go !!
Nice channel, really appreciate your energy.
Love your play and reasoning. Fresh new perspective. Keep the vlogs coming. We need more input from women players. Good job!
Nice content, you earned a new sub!
your day will come keep grinding
That bad beat with AK vs AJ was brutal and decissive, about 97 suited it s very hard decission, maybe he have pocket QQ or another full house after that small value bet after the river!
Keep up the good fight! Congratulations on caching!
I’ve played a couple of tournaments where I’ve played off a huge stack. It’s a sick, gross feeling. But that’s tournaments. At least you came back and cashed.
Just subbed Ashley fun watching u
Not sure if you have a betting/3 betting range in the sb but K6 suited is a really great raise or 3bet hand that balances out your value raises. You’re blocking a bunch and have fairly straightforward playability on most boards as middling cards hit your range to continuation bet and tell a story and anything with a king or flush gin. I think you’re leaving value on the table by not acting more aggressive pre
That suited AK getting broken by suited AJ was super rough
On day 2, A9 is a CALL on the river, as played. The guy checked the king on the flop, checked the flush on the turn, and then bets a 7 on the river? I would have made a bet on the turn even when the flush came in to see where I’m at. If I got raised I would have folded. If I got called, I would check back the river
They sure didn't learn , dont go all in!! 😆
Great job Ashley. That K6 hand, maybe we let that flush/straight draw get there next time :)
Haha 💯
To say Board paired river reraises are underbluffed is an understatement. Most likely a solid fold.
What a run.
Just subscribed. How come on day 2 did you go to mostly blurred out video?
Go Ashley! 💙💙
OK, you got a new follower. Well played.
💘 your vibes🤙🤙
Great intro!
Good plays Ash.
very well played...sooooon your time will come !!!
Should’ve gone all in on that flush of hearts you had. Everything went down the hill after that play.
Well done!
Nice. You were two away from the bubble, was it worth it to call and all-in preflop?
Hi Ashley. This is the first I've encountered of your vlog. Insta-like, insta-subscribe. I look forward to more.
I like Ashely's vlog because she doesn't let the boys push her around. I am just food to fish but was hoping for a river call with 9-7 H flush.
Nice job on the editing. Not an easy feat.
"Time to spin it up...." So disrespectful. I know you are friends with Somerville. XD
I really enjoy, but have to stick in my pet peeve. When two things oppose each other, it’s the two-syllable word “versus”, like Row versus Wade. The single syllable “verse” is a section of a song or poem. Good luck and all the best to you.
my first time seeing your blog, you are in league w/ Jaman,Andrew and Brad!!
Wow, I’m in great company. 😍🤩 Thanks
On the K6 boat hand what card would you be afraid of on the river?
Just came across your channel. Love it! Would have loved it more, if you hadn't raised the guy's bet when you had the heart flush and had just called. He could have bought one off of you there. If not, and you just called, you would have still been better off, as you wouldn't have lost the chips you raised with. 💯
The Kk666 shove on the turn🤒
@17:40, a call would have the play. So so flush with a pair on the board and minimal loss if wrong.
I think he had the nuts in the form of pocket 4s or 5s and he was trapping you with a set until the turn card made his hand unbeatable. He then opted not to re-raise you at the turn knowing you will bet on the river and re-raise you then. I think, Great fold. Well done.
