This song, Drop the World, and No Love have to be Eminem's best versus ever. Beyond powerful, and beyond amazing. There is a hella emotional component to each of them. And Eminem, Lil Wayne on his, and Yela bring it just as hard.

Em was talking about Proof being his best friend there are a few hints about it through the verse and in the video like him showing the tattoo of Proof, saying without a doubt which is what proof describes ( something that's without doubt ) and he also mentions Clint Eastwood which Proof was know as Dirty Harry who was a character played by Clint Eastwood.

Commented on the last Yela reaction you guys did, if you’re looking for how different Yela is compared to other artists he did an album called ‘Sometimes Y’ which demonstrates how unique his catalogue is, he has a way of drifting his way throughout different music genres whilst still sticking to his roots, really clever, under appreciated artist.

You need to check out the "Blacksheep" Album he did with Caskey. Two of my favorite tracks off it are "Just the Intro" and "Billy and the Purple Datsun" but there are so many more bangers off it.

I learned his verse on this one, and let me tell ya, even after watching every breakdown of it I can find, actually rapping out the cadence and schemes realizing all he's doing, it takes it to a whole other level! It's srsly bananas. Orrrnanas. Lol

With the alcoholic parents, fell into drugs at the ripe age of ten, discovered rap and hip-hop a couple years earlier (Dr. Dre's 'The Chronic' and Snoops 'Doggystyle' were my first finds shortly after their relase, and found Eminem at thirteen. Been a hard-core Eminem fan my whole life.
'No apologies', 'Don't Front', 'Bagpipes Over Baghdad', 'If I Had', 'Stimulate', 'Square Dance', 'Til I Collapse', 'Rain Man', 'Spend Some Time', 'Seduction', 'Superman', 'Surviva', 'We As Americans', 'Beautiful', 'My Mom', 'Insane', 'Buffalo Bill', 'Believe', 'The Ringer', 'No Regrets'... and that's not counting the 'unreleased'/diss tracks and such... but... those are just some of my absolute fav bangers off his studio albums.
I'm literally listening to 'Believe' right now and, yeah... the man is a master of the craft. I've been used to the haters. But it's undeniable... pretty sure he was the best selling artist from 2000 - 2010. It's been quite the change, as times have changed through the years and he evolved/grew older, and certainly couldn't put out music from the early 2000s today and not seem completely outta place, etc. Never found an artist who can ride a beat, tell someone to go to hell and draw them such a detailed map without missing a beat.

This song is still one of my favorite Eminem verses sonically. It just sounds so fucking good with or without the actual lyrics, and then since its Em the lyrics are great too of course.
Also the fact that Yela is in my top 10, and especially his singing, this song is just 100% it. I do wish Yela had an actual rap rap verse on it though.
Personally i like Yela more than most of Em's work but that purely comes down to Yela being more relatable to me. I grew up with those small rural town issues and dramas, not the big city stuff like em.
This is the best rap verse of all time. The passion, lyricism, content, production etc, there is not a better overall verse period.

Everybody catches the take a hike, center/sinner part but people miss the best part of Ems football scheme. When he says "if you dont like when I rap or what I have to say on the mic then you might wanna act just like quarterback and take a hike", its a play on words because the quarterback calls out the "Mike" linebacker (which is normally a middle linebacker but can be a db or other lb depending on defensive alignment and protection scheme) before snapping the ball every play. So he's saying if you dont like when I rap then try doing it yourself or stfu! The whole verse is filled with the craziest wordplay, you gotta listen three or four times to catch it all and you might still not!
My 10yr old daughter found this at the time and showed me. Part proud, part worried what kinda monster im raising 😂😂. Songs fire though and em went off🔥🔥
