Even if I don’t have a dog in the fight is even deeper. MTBMB came out after Snoop got too high & said he could do w/o Em’s entire discography so there’s little swipes at Snoop throughout album. Really think y’all would both enjoy caterpillar by Eminem and Royce da 5’9, it came out in 2018 but it’s an old school track
I feel if Eminem mainly rapped LIKE THIS? People would have a HUGE change up in how they view Eminem
Yes, it’s commendable that Eminem sells so many awkward weird or simply BAD beats because you lock onto his FLOW rather than the bad beat
And I really mean that, that’s some credit we can’t take away
On the other hand? If Em had the beat like this one? And this flow, where he isn’t going OD on the horrorcore, or the shock value, or being TOO concerned with the syllable count
He’s just rapping good while pairing ideas that work well versus simply cuz of the syllable count
And, because of all that? This track stood out to me out of ALL Eminem’s recent stuff from Revival till now
It’s THAT good. It honestly even supersedes Darkness. And that was POWERFUL
I wanna hear even a single album or mixtape of Eminem on these kinda beats with this kinda flow
I don’t mean he has to be saying the same things as he said here

I know you understand the context of saying that Covid came from a bat.
But do you know the expression of “getting something right off the bat”?
Because that is what I could not tell.

1)rhymes are like Covid; You get this this disease from eating bats; in other words his rhymes are so sick they make you sick.(they spread)
2) rhymes are like Covid; you understand them right away; like how fast a ball flys off a baseball bat or “off the bat”, but also you “get em right away” like when people were “catching” Covid really quickly at the beginning (when this was written).
3) there have been many many rock bands and now rap artists associated with satanic imagery and devil worship. Some real and some just played into. Some of that is blood rituals and also the bat imagery. Several bands have been accused of drinking the blood of bats, most notoriously Ozzy Osborne who supposedly would bite the heads off of live bats on stage. Don’t know if that is true but that is what Em does at the end and what I think he is referencing.
Probably an over explanation but I love when Em says something that sounds basic or simple but it is deeper the more you pull it a part.

Eminem is a trash human but still one of the greatest rappers to date (arguably) He’s in my top 10 but I have zero desire to meet or chill with him. We grew up with similar childhoods in poverty but he and I are worlds apart in morals . He raps well. No one should seek political advice from an entertainer.
If you skipped from The Eminem Show to Kamikaze, you really didn't miss anything, just a bunch of garbage for the most part
