Wow. I knew these exhausts were cool sounding, sounds alot different outside. I just hit 500 on mine. The salesman told me not to burn out until first oil change. I got on it 1nce though, a Honda tried to pass me, tried and failed. LOL. Enjoy the R/T man!
Hope you got the launch controlled figured out by now. Have to hit the brake then floor it right after. Hold both and it should be free revving at exactly 2k rpm that you have set. Let of the brake and she will go!
Like your Enthusiasm and the love you had for your SXT and now your RT. I’m subscribing because I like the way you enjoy your MOPAR experiences to max.
You have to press and hold your break pedal fully with your left foot, press and hold the gas pedal fully with your right foot, then wait 3 seconds, and let go of the brake pedal as quickly as possible and keep your right foot on the gas pedal full throttle for Acceleration
I got 2019 charger daytona 5.7 and did 0-60 in 4.9. Drove 1500 miles. Never have used launch control yet. I get 0-60 in low 5's (5.1 - 5.3). My worst 0-60 is 5.7. Just put the sports mode on and that's it.
Just did a 5.1 0-60 in a 2019 R/T the other day. All I did was floor it. Sport mode off, TC on. Very impressive time considering it spun all the way through 1st gear.

You didn’t use launch control in those try’s bro . But it’s all good that was your first time . Hold the brake all the way down , quickly press down on the gas at full throttle . Then the rpms will lock on . As soon as you see the rpms holding while still on the gas and brake release the brake and bam you’ll be launching . But with stock tires you won’t go no where . A lot of city/ highway miles bro! I have a '16 Charger R/T. Got almost 50k on these tires now. Just bought another set for the ride, new shoes for the car!

Hey I need some advice man, I plan to get a new car next year, either a 2019 Charger R/T or a 2018 Mustang GT, What do you think? Just need some advice
Chargers gonna be more useful. And it looks better. And sounds better than the mustang. It's still a family sedan car at the end of the day with a big v8. Mustang is a mustang so you have drive a mustang and deal with mustang stygma. It's faster, not totally by much. And handles better and lighter. Also interior is somewhat better but its subjective.
Get a 2020 Dodge Magnum. Wishful thinking/ dreaming. My 06, apart from some parts quality issues, is by far the best car I've ever had. Anything that broke they fixed under warranty and it never broke again unless it was my fault. Note: never go full throttle at full steering lock. That took out three power steering pumps, under warranty, before I figured it out. Whoopsy. The space limo like. The torque is simply beautiful, all of the time, with out fail. Long and low. Suspension is noisy as hell but they fix it when it's an issue. They finally agreed that if I installed higher quality bushings and the like, the warranty would still be honored. Point is: there's nothing quite like providing and mixing the PA for a killer band in front of 1000 people with the most beautiful backdrop anywhere(Charleston Harbor), then packing said gear into 612 trailer and then getting in a race with an older Trans-Am while going UP the world famous Cooper River Bridge. We got to a light on the other side and I told the two guys how awesome the TA sounded and they were floored that I kept up when they realized I had the big trailer behind me. Fun stuff. Another time on the way to Tractor Supply in a more rural area, I came to a light with a newer Corvette. In front of us was a 55 zone and zero traffic for 1/2 mile. He and I both pull away but he suddenly jabs it and so do I andI held even until about 65 when far greater HP pulled away. THAT is cool. I returned home smiling with a very quick station wagon carrying a handful of stuff that the Corvette couldn't carry 1/4 of. I greatly prefer ow CG and generally don't care to drive around in 5-6000lbs of truck when I really only NEED a truck......um never. If it's not right for the Magnum, it goes in the trailer. Granted I can't go offroading, but the wife has an older but cool Grand Cherokee. Those things are part farm implement, part luxury car. But when 5 people need to go somewhere my car is a no brainer. Carry a ten foot 4x4 from Lowe's? No problem. Carry a small PA without the trailer? No problem. It has never left me stranded. I've been hit from behind hard, twice! First time scratched and slightly cut back bumper cover. Second time was hard enough to slam me into the car in front of me. Scratched front bumper a little more than before. Bent rear bumper support such that the tailgate wouldn't close properly but I used a jack to fix that. Dinged tailgate and back bumper support and cover need to be replaced. superficial really. And pulls that trailer all the time. It's a low CG truck with limo like interior and covered cargo bay and weighs 1000lbs less and is WAY more fun and safe to do smoky donuts in. And better mileage, even though no car that ever drive has been known for good mileage. So buy a Charger. Or a cherry Magnum SRT8.
Don't listen to these people going on about how you're using launch control wrong. I got a 4.7 second 0-60 with the stock 245s in the humid Houston weather when I had my 2016 charger R/T. Just learn how to brake boost and you'll be good.
i keep seen everyone talk about the R/T Plus Package but i cannot find any on sale with this so-called "Plus" package, I am in the market for this same car but can't seem to find what is included in this plus package. I am assuming that the new R/T comes with the new scat pack body is this what the plus package is?
No the Scat pack body is just standard on all RTs now, Here’s a link to the Dodge website where you can build and price the charger and you’ll see the plus group as an option and what it includes. www.dodge.com
My best time when I had my stock 245’s on was 4.7 seconds 0-60 try leaving traction control on and brake boosting to about 1500 Rpms don’t use launch control because it doesn’t do that good of a job with holding the back wheels
The plus is like the luxury interior package, it gets things like Alcantara heated/cooled/memory front seats, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, Blindspot, and stuff like that
I got a 2019 Dodge Charger GT Super track package I get 6.2 in 0 to 60 in my V-6 with Resonator delete but you said 6sec on a R/T plus that’s sad I am happy I didn’t get a Daytona, I really didn’t want to pay too much
It was his first run he wasn't doing anything right. Those RT's do their 0-60 at least 1 whole second faster than your V6.... Try racing one you will quickly see the difference
If you are going to get a muscle car, you gotta at least know the basics to launching... Holding the brake and gas down all the way will rev the engine to the desired RPM on screen then once you take your foot off the brake... MAGIC happens.

What kind of equipment do you use to get those exhaust shots?
Don't listen to these people going on about how you're using launch control wrong. I got a 4.7 second 0-60 with the stock 245s in the humid Houston weather when I had my 2016 charger R/T. Just learn how to brake boost and you'll be good.
‘I have no idea how to use launch control guys’ says youtuber doing launch control video.
I just bought this same car a couple of weeks ago.
i keep seen everyone talk about the R/T Plus Package but i cannot find any on sale with this so-called "Plus" package, I am in the market for this same car but can't seem to find what is included in this plus package. I am assuming that the new R/T comes with the new scat pack body is this what the plus package is?
No the Scat pack body is just standard on all RTs now, Here’s a link to the Dodge website where you can build and price the charger and you’ll see the plus group as an option and what it includes.

18 mpg 😧 when I drive mine regularly I get 13 at best but I usually get 10mpg bc what’s having a fun car and not going fast 💀
She does sound great! 👍
My best time when I had my stock 245’s on was 4.7 seconds 0-60 try leaving traction control on and brake boosting to about 1500 Rpms don’t use launch control because it doesn’t do that good of a job with holding the back wheels
What’s ur gear ratio ?
l mao bro FLOOR THE BREAK, FLOOR THE GASS, LET GO OF BREAK.
I wish my car had a spare wheel, I have a 300 srt8 core, and it's awesome.
For launch control you hold one foot on the break and one on the gas not tap break and hit the gas
You in Arizona..? Great video, I subbed..👊💯👌..
Are you sure those exhaust are stock? Seems like u have a muffler delete or sum done
YR H 100% sure it’s stock, I bought the car with 2 miles on it.
Same one as yours and in Az. Great cars
Where did you get the back up camera on the Ram. Can you please give me a link to it? Was it an easy install? Can you make a review on it? Thanks.
What’s the difference on rt plus? Cause I bought a 2020 Dodge Charger rt and mine isn’t rt plus ?
The plus is like the luxury interior package, it gets things like Alcantara heated/cooled/memory front seats, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, Blindspot, and stuff like that
I got a 2019 Dodge Charger GT Super track package I get 6.2 in 0 to 60 in my V-6 with Resonator delete but you said 6sec on a R/T plus that’s sad I am happy I didn’t get a Daytona, I really didn’t want to pay too much
To each their own. Almost got the 2019 GT too. But once I got to the dealership I knew I needed a hemi. The sound of a v8 sells itself.
It was his first run he wasn't doing anything right. Those RT's do their 0-60 at least 1 whole second faster than your V6.... Try racing one you will quickly see the difference
Does the active exhaust stays open in sport mode great car.
Hey I just bought a Dodge Charger rt 2018 and I don’t have launch control? Super disappointed
Hows the gas compared to your chally v6?
Damn.. Should have picked up a Golf R...
Looks like the adult version of the kid from home improvement
This is not launch control at all 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Hold brake - floor throttle while holding brake - once reached set RPM let of brake and hold on.
I got 4.9 on my 2018 challenger rt plus.. just put it sport and turn off traction control
If you are going to get a muscle car, you gotta at least know the basics to launching... Holding the brake and gas down all the way will rev the engine to the desired RPM on screen then once you take your foot off the brake... MAGIC happens.
at how many miles did you get the first oil change?
3,000
You have to let the rpms get up a little before you just take off 🤦🏾♂️
hold both the throttle and break until it tells u ready to launch
Off road in the Cummins video?
I’m pretty sure you have to hold the brake
:) ??? I got 285s and with launch im getting 5.5, how r u getting it on stock tires?????? :) great job tho
I don’t know, luck I guess lol I’ll have 275’s arriving soon, so hopefully that’ll help the time.
What kinda exhaust you have on there
They are awesome I drove one about a week ago as well I think I uploaded a video on my page they handle so much better drove a 18 about 6 months ago
What’s the gear ratio?
Good times. Plenty of good advice in the comments below.
Hey I'm from Phoenix too and have an 18 scat pack. we should talk cars sometime, I used to have a 5.7!
I have a 88 Yugo . Can I talk with you also?
Nice video !!
That’s crazy sounds like a scat
He will learn
It tells you when to let go of the brake.
I did 5.2 in my 2019 RT.
Sick!!!
Sounds much different than the 6.4
You from Tempe?
Youre in AZ? Saw Barnes hahaha
Yep
dammmm!!!! I NEED TO ONW OF THESE IN MY LIFE
