Awesome video, we implemented a period during our fungo routine with our high school to one hand and move through every ball because of this video. It really helped our guys learn to pick hops and shrink throws. Thanks for sharing.
This is a great video I'm actually starting to experiment with this more now that I'm in college ball my coach talks about it kind of like making a V cut. If you have time I wanted to ask if you can make a video about on field presence as an infielder and also how you show take your warm up throws like a professional defender from second, short, and third. thanks have a nice day.
Love this video because it’s simple. I keep seeing trainers talk so much about feet , charge Tim of money for cone drills!! and we all know feet area important but cone drills dont always translate to real situations. He doesn’t seem to have the fastest feet out there yet he is smooth and just goes after the ball and catch it. I’ve transition our training over the last year to get away from too many cone drills and to this style. Simple
Hey awesome video, I was wondering would this one hand fielding also work with double plays or should double plays for example a ball on your right leg still be fielded with 2 hands?
It's not that, using two hands is great and ensures for a great play. However, as guys get faster you need to move faster as a defender but under control using one hand is a skill to practice great for a shortstop or third basemen looking to keep their feet moving. It also depends on the speed of the ball off the bat something you have to read.
Thanks for the advices ! It's great to have a professionnal showing tricks like that.
Love having you in blue pinstripes. Not just a talented player, but an inspirational human being & role model 👏👏👏
