Hey Jeff, do you have anything that has all the notes in the tenor range? Also something that spends prolonged time on the high/highest notes, as opposed to ascending to them and just coming down without staying. Not sure if I said this right, don't know any technical names. In a nutshell, if I want to a) practice all the notes and b) give the highest range in my voice a tight, tough work out what to do? Jeff, I've been using this warmup and a bunch of your other videos for about a year now, and I can't thank you enough. I'm not a great singer, but I've made a ton of progress, and your videos have been more than instrumental in my growth as a singer. Thanks, man
I’m a trans guy and went on testosterone about 2.5 years ago and my voice deepened to a tenor range, and these exercises have been helpful for my changing voice!
Jeff, I want to take the time to thank you. I’ve been singing for 20 years, mostly heavy stuff, and never took any singing classes. I’ve always been struggling with a few precise things, although I’ve developed tricks to hide them and managed to have a rewarding career. I’ve been trying for a long time to understand my flaws and learn techniques from coaches who were closer to my type of powerful voice and style, without much success. Then I found your exercices for tenors and everything fell into place. Every gig has been a breeze since then. You have changed the way I sing forever! From Montréal, merci beaucoup!
Thank you so much for sharing this with me! I am so happy to hear that the videos have helped so much! Keep enjoying the channel and great work with your singing! All the best! Jeff
This is very helpful Jeff. Thank you. My voice is a Baritone and I am a band director, however I love to sing. I have been looking for some simple things to start training my pitch better and this is perfect. It also gives me some different things to think about. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you SO MUCH!!! I have historically sung alto but am considering joining a local choir which is excited for another potential tenor. I can sing the entire range but have been nervous about precision. This is brilliant, and I'll practice this continuously until mid-Jan when I join my first practice.
Thank you Jeff for this awesome alto warm up exercise. I just started in my church choir and this will help me with singing in the church. If you can't find your alto range, just play around with it till you find what is comfortable for you and stick to that if that helps. I am no expert but seen some comments is all. Thanks Jeff, you remind me of my choir teacher so many years ago i worked with at Indiana State University in Indiana USA. Awesome vocal techniques.
I don't know if i'm a tenor or a baitone..I find comfortable both...but sometimes i get wrong in high notes and sometimes my low notes dont sound good...my voice seems to be richer with low harmonics, but it can be light too..help
Fach is a function of both range and the location of your secondo passaggio. Continue to nurture a well balanced vowel approach and the location of your secondo passaggio will become more or less evident. That will go a long way to indicating whether or not you're a tenor or baritone. Thanks! Jeff
I used to take private lessons as a teenager and this is my first day and video of attempting warm-ups after not having done any warm-ups in 25 years. I'm sad to discover how much I've lost but I will be viewing this and other vids by Jeff to try to bring my voice back to where it used to be! I will not be defeated! 😁
Thanks for trying out the video! Welcome back to singing! Keep me up to date on your re-entry! You'll find that there's lots to choose from here and I'm quite responsive! Best, Jeff
Your methodology is amazing. Makes it easy and fun to learn and practice. I watch your videos every day and thank you so much for being such a vocal coach committed to the art of music. Greetings from Brazil.
I absolutely love your videos. So tremendously helpful and very clear. I get a thrill everytime I'm practicing. Do continue your excellent work and I'll have the pleasure to do my warm ups everyday. Your 'uu's are catmint for me. Have a nice day.🌻
Thank you so much for these videos, Jeff. I've watched this so many times I can easily lip sync your whole speech (with intonation) through the video. Your words have become actual earworms. That is something!
So good to be back here warming up with you again buddy, honestly one of the bits which has made me feel like things might go back to some kind of normal. Stay safe and thank you for this, and the 15 minutes we spend together before every gig and rehearsal
Hey, these are pretty awesome! Had a show rehearsal last night and felt like I completely blew a tire, so I'm glad I took the time to check you out. Thank you!
Just found your video and am using it to make my voice strong again after not singing for a couple years! I was in show choir in high school and since covid-19 pins I haven't really been taking care of my voice but I'm glad that they're wonderful people like him on this app so I'm able to keep my voice nice and perky
Jill Johnson Mann it varies from person to person, mine is around E4-F#4. Yours may or may not be there. It’s where your voice starts to crack and such, and a good exercise that I do to help smooth it out is use “Gee” on on a 5 note major scale, starting at C3 and moving up by semitones. It takes a LONG time to work it, you have to do it very often. But you will get there. (PS I’m a tenor, if you’re a baritone start lower than a C3, bass starts even lower)
You know a good teacher because they know when the student will feel unsure and know when to make eye contact to reassure them ha ha this video took me back to music lessons as a kid. Bless ❤

If you like this, and enjoy more soothing warm ups, consider trying some of my 'gentle' warm ups!

I’ve never commented before but your content for a few years has been a useful tool for me before almost every performance, I just wanna thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it and am glad that the videos are serving you well! May they continue to do! Enjoy the channel!

A singing ad in a singing video. Singception
Jeff, I've been using this warmup and a bunch of your other videos for about a year now, and I can't thank you enough. I'm not a great singer, but I've made a ton of progress, and your videos have been more than instrumental in my growth as a singer. Thanks, man
Awesome! Really glad to hear that they've helped!
I’m a trans guy and went on testosterone about 2.5 years ago and my voice deepened to a tenor range, and these exercises have been helpful for my changing voice!
You can be delivered from that
Jeff, I want to take the time to thank you.
These videos are definitely in the upper echelons of RUclips based vocal teaching. Keep it up, man! Great stuff!
Thank you very much! I will! Thanks for watching!
Jeff
I don't know if i'm a tenor or a baitone..I find comfortable both...but sometimes i get wrong in high notes and sometimes my low notes dont sound good...my voice seems to be richer with low harmonics, but it can be light too..help
Fach is a function of both range and the location of your secondo passaggio. Continue to nurture a well balanced vowel approach and the location of your secondo passaggio will become more or less evident. That will go a long way to indicating whether or not you're a tenor or baritone.
Thanks!
Jeff
Some people are just right in the middle.
Could be lyric baritone
You’re a benor
I love watching the view count crank up and realising most of them are mine
Yeah baby! Thanks for watching! I appreciate it!
Best,

Best,
Jeff
Your methodology is amazing. Makes it easy and fun to learn and practice. I watch your videos every day and thank you so much for being such a vocal coach committed to the art of music. Greetings from Brazil.

Thank you, Jeff. I've been singing along for 2 years now. A year ago, I gained the confidence to sing in front of people.
Awesome! Keep it up!
Jeff
..brilliant! I use this warm up almost every day - keep up the great work!
Thank you! Will do!
I use this almost everyday with the singing over the break warmup video for 1/2 hour hard rock warm up before going onstage. Works like a charm ✨
You're welcome! Thank you for watching and singing along (and lip-syncing with me! So glad you're getting good use from these videos!
Best,
Jeff
You have the moves so nicely
So good to be back here warming up with you again buddy, honestly one of the bits which has made me feel like things might go back to some kind of normal. Stay safe and thank you for this, and the 15 minutes we spend together before every gig and rehearsal
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! Break a leg!

Hey, these are pretty awesome! Had a show rehearsal last night and felt like I completely blew a tire, so I'm glad I took the time to check you out.
Thank you!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!

Jeff's warm-ups are useful and he looks like Chest Rockwell, which adds extra fun to using his videos.
Especially upside down in the reflection.
I use this DAILY. It’s a great balance of challenging/easy. Thank you! -Elijah
Still warming up with this till this day!
Just found your video and am using it to make my voice strong again after not singing for a couple years! I just got accepted into Drama school in the U.K. and voice has been made a really important part of training so I humbly thank you for this incredible video, definitely subscribed! Thanks Jeff!
Congratulations!! Enjoy your time! I hope you'll be able to really immerse yourself in your studies!
Jeff
I appreciate you and what you offer here. Thanks!
You have such a calm speaking voice, i wish my mornings started with on of your "and"s lol
Reminds me of high school as a beginner musician taking lessons. Thx for the warm up!
Found Jeff's videos recently, he is a very knowledgeable and positive instructor, good stuff!

I'm 12
I was in show choir in high school and since covid-19 pins I haven't really been taking care of my voice but I'm glad that they're wonderful people like him on this app so I'm able to keep my voice nice and perky
This is helping me so much with smoothing my pasagio out.
Passaaaggggiiiooooo
Smooth my dik
You know a good teacher because they know when the student will feel unsure and know when to make eye contact to reassure them ha ha this video took me back to music lessons as a kid. Bless ❤
